New Year’s Shoe Crush: Bally
Posted on January 2nd, 2010 by galligator under Endless, Fall 2009 Shoes, General, High heels, Pumps, spring 2010 shoesSo, I found another shoe to love, and it’s not even a week into the new year. Actually, several shoes; all what you would consider to be basically just small variations on a theme. But, these make such a lovely set of variations. Any one of these decadent beauties would make a dream shoe for any holiday from New Years Eve to an upscale wedding anniversary.

These metal-embellished heels are tugging at my heartstrings, but not my purse-strings (not yet, anyway). The Ballys Pappillon and Pattys pumps (ranging from $1395 – $1775 at endless.com) are not just pretty - they cost an unfortunately pretty penny.
Curse this living on a budget!
Well, a girl can always dream.

That is without a doubt one of the top 3 most beautiful shoes I have ever seen. Thanks for posting those, I now have a whole new appreciation for Bally.

I am struggling with this new platform silhouette. It will probably take me another season to like it, and another season to buy it. I am considering purchasing a pair just so I can get used to it faster.

I’m personally not too fond of iridescent shoes… But the first one in this post are actually really cute. Keep posting!

I like that these are a minimal platform instead of some of the ‘bubble styles’. Since these are stepped down in size, they appear more delicate than some of the other platforms we have been seeing. These are also reminiscent of these metal-clad Stella McCartney’s: http://www.shoeblog.com/blog/my-newest-crush/
One of these days I will find a similar shoe that fits into my budget. The hunt continues. If I’m very lucky, they’ll have a 7.5 left in one of these on clearance in 12 months….I can hold my breath for these to come down a tad in price.

Gal. Fat chance there is a 7.5 left. Those never seem to survive till clearance time. That is the only good thing about having big feet. I tend to find a fair amount of shoes on clearance.
