Little did the folks at the wildly successful NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Monty) know that their little initiative would not only transform into a national movement, but also spawn similar popular efforts, such as NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month), and recently (drum roll, please!) NoBloShoeMo–ok, you’ve got to help me out here: November Blogging Shoes Month? Something like that–all these blessed events occur in November, the month where you’ll undoubtedly observe a higher density of laptops per coffee shop than ever before.

But back to more pressing matters: here’s the link for NoBloShoeMo, and here’ the call to shoe-Flickering from the mouth of a shoe and blogging enthusiast, Susan Wagner:

For the next thirty days, we want you to show us your shoes — the good, the bad, the ugly-but-oh-so-comfortable. Post daily, or once in a while, or when the shoe whim strikes. Because you wear them every day, why not photograph them? Every day. For one month.

It’s that easy.
