Open-toed boots?
Posted on June 6th, 2007 by shoesense under Anthropologie, Boots, Shoe Trends, ZapposI’ve always been opposed to wearing boots in summer. I know, I know, it’s an unpopular view if I were to judge by about 90% of Hollywould starlets and also a couple of fashion editorials here and there. But, that’s me. When it’s 90 degrees outside, I prefer to have as little on me as possible, you know?
But perhaps the recent trend of peep-toe booties is trying to accommodate the likes of me?
Suede peep-toe booties with scalloped edges, on sale now at Anthropologie for $99 (about 66% off).
Or how’bout these Clergerie tweed clunkers:

These Robert Clergerie ‘Andros’ booties, almost $600 at Zappos.
Clergerie also makes this model:

The Clergerie ‘Party’ booties are $466 at Zappos.
Um…definitely not convinced yet. Where are you on this trend?
