Oscar de la Renta’s Over-the-Knee Corduroy Suede and Leather Boots

These beautiful de la Rentas are corduroy suede and leather, which gives them a bit of contrast and a long vertical line that is very pleasing. Usually de la Renta is way too rich Upper East Side matron and way too expensive for yours truly, but I just love these. I already have over-the-knee boots from last year though, sigh.

They are just so slim and elegant, and I like the faux strap around the ankle. Plus they’re over-the-knee so they offer extra protection against cold.
