Peep-toes for every taste

Last year I made a resolution to wear peep-toes, and I found myself buying pair after pair. So now I have two pairs! Kidding, kidding–but I do have a few, and thanks to the fashion gods, it’s chic to wear them now with tights, so they turn out to be useful even in cold weather. Mercifully, they’re still trendy, as Shopbop reminds us–so I can keep on wearing them this year. Whew! 
If I needed more, however, the offerings out there are delectable–such as these tall-as-can-be orange patent peep-toe Mary Janes from Ruthie Davis, $625 at Shopbop:
But let’s be realistic: I could never pull off 5″ heels, nor would I want to. More likely, I’d go for these yellow peep-toes from Frye–again, in a very fashionable color this year, and $148 at Shopbop:
A healthier, much more manageable 2.5″ inch heel, flirty and casual. I’m actually eying this for myself–wouldn’t it look lovely with a summer dress? Even jeans, come to think about it. In all honesty, my closet IS missing a pair of yellow shoes…
