Pierre Hardy designs shoes for Gap

It has been a number of years since I’ve shopped at Gap. I attribute this to one of two factors. It was either because I outgrew my t-shirt phase or maybe it was because all my Gap t-shirts weren’t dyed properly and I would end up with random bleach spots after a few washes.

It appears I may have reason to reevaluate my position and drop by the local Gap store. The main driving factor would be due to Pierre Hardy. Starting in February 2008, Pierre Hardy shoes designed for Gap will be available in 75 US retail stores. While they aren’t the flashy or stilleto high shoes that Pierre Hardy  designs for Balenciaga or Dior, I must admit that I like the casual chic look of these gladiator flats. Fitting for Gap, wouldn’t you say? The chucky wooden wedge with the coiled striped buckle isn’t bad either. Prices will range from $78-98.
