Prada Woven Metallic Sandals

Upon entering the store today, I was assaulted by Prada bags. Where were the shoes, I wondered? All the way in the back, of course, in the womb-like back space of a store often reserved for shoes. I often wonder why shoes are not placed more front-and-center. They are cheaper than most designer bags, of course, so the store may want to push handbags more. They are also often touched or rearranged by customers, and may thus lead to a messy store.

I don’t always like everything Prada does, but this looks like a jackpot to me. With its orange-tan and black and metallic silver woven straps, moderate heels, and unique vamp design, these are sure to stun for summer sidewalk dinners.

And the price is nice, at $595. Purchase in-store on Fifth Avenue.
