Product Review: Freckles-N-Fran Boot Wrappers
Posted on March 20th, 2008 by Shomore under BootsYou’ve been wearing your boots all winter long and have grown tired of the look. However, with spring upon us, there just isn’t much incentive to shell out for new winter shoes (except if they are heavily discounted, of course). Here’s a way to add a little versatility to the boots in a cost efficient manner.
We had a chance to test out Freckles N’ Fran’s boot wrappers. For less than twenty dollars, stretchable boot wrappers can be added to the top of your boots to instantly add a little flare. Left (boots without wrappers); Right (the same boots with zebra wrappers)
You can even adjust the width of the wrapper. Simply tuck in more fabric if you want a narrow wrapper. I was impressed that the fabric was pretty soft and supple. For my fairly large cow calves, the wrappers weren’t constricting at all.
Here’s the pair Jitterbugbaby tried out, with similarly fun results.

For the spring/summer or if you don’t have any handy, the wrappers also work well as a colorful hair scrunchy or decorative wrist cuff, too. LOL.
Right now the selection of patterns is somewhat limited (zebra, cheetah, etc.) and I’m looking forward to more subtle and feminine products like lace, etc. Either way, this is a fun way to jazz up your look.

Those are hilarious! Not that they look funny, (although I will admit it I don’t know if I could put those on and walk out of the house with a straight face), but more from the fact that I can’t believe someone actually came up with an idea like it. I never cease to be amazed…
