Rick Owens and the hidden shoe
Posted on March 4th, 2009 by Shomore under Spring 2009 Shoes, Walking DisastersCan anyone guess what’s under this piece of cloth? Hint. This is a shoe blog. Okay, so it isn’t a huge stretch of imagination to say that this is going to be a shoe. But seriously, would you wear this sandal by Rick Owens? It’s certainly a shoe that makes a statement without even being seen.
Actual image of the hidden shoe is after the jump.

That shoe is hillarious! I wonder why no one thought of that before. Hey!… And a great DIY idea. “Of course this shoe costs XX thousand dollars (no one needs to know there’s a Payless wedge underneath)”.
Great find!

I can see it getting caught in the escalator, ripping the shoe all to hell and then tripping the girl so she tumbles down the up escalator. That is something that would hapen to me.

One more thing… the dress and hair thing is equally fug.

If I owned a pair, I’d find some way to tie the the cover up around my ankles to show off the sandal. You know, be creative with it. It’s definitely not the ugliest shoe, but maybe not the most sensible (i.e. tripping over yourself, rain ruining them, etc.).

I think they’re ok– I wouldn’t say they’re ugly.. It just reminds me of a mop on feet with that scarf on her head..
If I wore those it would really feel like I’m “dragging my feet” day.
If yiu can afford to drag your feet around, buy them
