Roberto Cavalli’s Gorgeous Laced Rosette Sandals

Ok, so they’re not quite rosettes. But these gorgeous Cavalli sandals will have you feeling like spring and thinking you’re walking on roses.

Just say no. Just Cavalli is overpriced and their leather goods are made in China. They have ZERO customer service. I purchased a lovely satchel last year that I got maybe 2.5-3 months worth of use, then the handles broke. When I brought it back they wanted to charge me to fix it, no offer of replacement after I had given them the benefit of the doubt saying perhaps I got the one lemon in the bunch. They finally relented and said they'd send it out to be fixed. They didn't send it anywhere, when my husband brought it home I had found that they had used rubber cement to try and glue it. Garbage. The worst part is that I wrote to corporate and they never even bothered acknowledging my dilemma. So I'm stuck with a very expensive piece of garbage that I'm too afraid to use (even after spending molto dinero to have my excellent cobbler fix it) that could have been spent on something actually quality-made. ): Shame on them.

Hmm. I guess I'm n the minority. I like the "rosettes," which are really more of a ruffle, and the color combo, but with the lacing AND the gold chain, this sandal heads into over-designed territory. As Tim Gunn would say, "That's a lot of look!" BUT I did just buy a pair of rosette-embellished sandals–much simpler with a vintage vibe. I love them to death!
