Runway to Retail: Alexander McQueen Floral Engraved Boots

You may remember these boots from the Alexander McQueen Fall 2010 runway show which ran just after his unfortunate suicide earlier this year.
As part of the last show to be subject to Mr. McQueen’s direct approval, I expect these will be both coveted and collectible.
And, at a hefty $4195 price tag, these will be a glamorous splurge for those shoe-fanatics who can afford such an indulgence…and yes, I do regret that I can’t be one of them.
Here’s a fond wish that at least one museum’s fashion collection get’s a pair of these for the rest of us to enjoy viewing as well.

I know the picture still pops up – it's been a popular shoe since we first wrote about it. I think it showed up on clearance for about $2400, but that's still too rich for most of our budgets. And the 'sell my husband' -lol!
