Rupert Sanderson for Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010 Shoes

If the Spring 2010 shoe looks familiar, it’s because the designs are based off two of Rupert’s best selling styles, the Asteroid and Finesse. Updates to the shoe included a heel inspired inspired by the Italian architect Gio Ponti and ankle straps that were altered so that they looped under the sole and are bolted in place. To complete the futuristic rock look Lagerfield was going for, a shot of Karl as a guitar hero was spray-stenciled on the front of the shoes.
As for stars in attendance, Katie Perry was at the Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010 show in shoes Rupert designed for Karl last season. Love the Lagerfeld tote!
