Seasonal lust: Loeffler Randall tall boots
Posted on August 30th, 2007 by shoesense under Boots, Loeffler Randall ShoesI don’t know how YOU deal with your shoe obsessions, but here’s what I do: come the new season I usually form an uncanny attachment to a pair of shoes/boots/sandals/whatever, over which I salivate obsessively and whose picture I admire at least three times a week (what, it burns calories, I’ve heard), just to saturate my eyes with what, at that moment in time to me, is sheer perfection.
The time has come for me to start lusting, therefore, after these Loeffler Randall Maltide tall boots, in cuoio ($695 at Neiman Marcus):

Oh. My. God. Breathtaking, simple, beautiful, elegant lines, modest wedge heel, splendid color, gorgeous leather (excuse me while I wipe off the drool, it’s getting hard to type over here).
Ahem.

I really wanted these shoes but they are a bit pricy & I have far too many $500+ shoes & before x-mas bought a pair of $800 Jimmy Choo boots. Well, I bought the Matildas a couple months ago & so love them. I wore them recently shopping & kid you not, in the course of 2 hours I got 5 compliments. I liked them but I didn’t know that so many people who had no clue they were Loeffler would love them too. They look great with leggins & skinny jeans & are a good contrast when wearing all black. I am for sure going to get them in black & probably black patent when my will power gives.
