What a wonderful contest! Although 1st comment usually doesn’t win I can’t resist entering.
The reason I love Sex and the City was that it was always baned in my house. When I moved out for college I watched the show for the first time and was instantly hooked. It was so glamorous and taboo. Most importantly it was fun! Although the characters were often hard to relate to (Carrie goes camping anyone?) I had a blast watching the show and can’t wait for the movie.

I am so so looking forward to seeing the SATC movie. I’m engaged and was thinking it would be a wicked gift to my bridesmaids and my mom to take them to see this movie. I love this show because it is so honest about women. I feel that these women really represent of what women experience in love and life. I remember renting episodes of the show with my mom when she visited while I lived in Vancouver and we watched them together. If I won this contest I would so have a SATC marathon with all my girlfriends.
May 10th, 2008 at 9:46 am
I love that it’s a show about the relationships between women. Everything else is peripheral.
May 10th, 2008 at 11:08 am
I think the commraderie if the women is paramount to how well the the series related to all women “No holds barred” kind of thing. It has taken years for me to confide some things to even my very best friends and this show helped me to move forward, I only just started the first series. I now realize that although my husband may be my best friend, women are essential to my life.
May 10th, 2008 at 1:55 pm
I’ve always loved “Sex and the City” because the four characters represent the various facets of today’s modern woman. Because I’m a writer and a total fashionista, I have a lot of Carrie in me. But, I’m also sexually uninhibited, like Samantha (heck, I write about sex for a living). And, being married and monogamous, I can relate to romantic Charlotte. On top of all that, I’m also very logical and stern, like Miranda. All women have Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte inside of them, and “Sex and the City” celebrates that.
May 10th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
I stumbled upon SATC after graduating from high school. All of my good friends had moved away to different colleges across the country and I was stuck in my hometown feeling very lonely. I rented every season from Netflix and ran through the entire series in little more than a week. Carrie & the girls reminded me of the sister-like bonds I had with my high school friends and all the great times we had together. Now I’ve moved to a new city and made new friends. It’s so important to have strong relationships with other women - ones you can depend on. It’s so much fun to have SATC marathons to catch up & share the series with them. We’ve already planned to go to the SATC movie straight after work on May 30th! By the way, I’m a ‘Miranda’.
May 10th, 2008 at 4:51 pm
I finished SATC this winter after buying the complete series at 1/2 price on a day after thanksgiving sale…So, probably don’t ‘need’ the pack - would have to give it to step-mom-in-law if I won. She has definitely worked with some variation of all of the show’s characters. I, on the otherhand found myself watching the show more like Jane Goodall exploring a familiar yet slightly alien species.
May 10th, 2008 at 10:37 pm
When asked why i LOVE SATC, picking just one reason would be inadequate. For me, it is the fashion, the friendships, all of the characters AND the lessons learned that keeps me yearning for more. The fashion is phenomenal and the friendships are those a girl can only wish for. The leading ladies are each so different, which allows a great variety on a look at life. Being on the younger side, I feel like the ladies of the show put forward great advice on a more mature yet not over-kill level, that allows me to get a realistic grasp on life. Being that I could watch the show every waking moment for the rest of my life, this gift bag would be a god-send to me!!
May 11th, 2008 at 12:01 am
Why do I love this show? its in the city i love, its with 4 characters when combined make me, and its got cute men. what more could i ask for?
May 11th, 2008 at 3:30 pm
Awww how do I love this show? Let me count the ways! Growing up in Connecticut, NYC was so close and yet seemed so far. My 2 best girlfriends and I were determined to move there after college though and SATC admittedly became one of the biggest reasons. The glamour, the love found, the loves lost, the ways their lives were so intertwined with each other and NYC was irresistible. Well, we all ended up there together and although no one can recreate the glamour, we still joke that it was our very own SATC show and we’ll never forget how much fun we had.
May 12th, 2008 at 6:20 am
As a fashion student and a writer, I don’t think there is a more inspiring muse than Carrie Bradshaw. The hair, the makeup, the clothes, the articles, the boyfriends… ugh, she’s just… fabulous!!!
May 12th, 2008 at 6:50 am
I think every woman can definitely identify with a little bit from each of the characters from SATC.
May 12th, 2008 at 8:32 am
Wow! What a wonderfully fun giveaway contest! I like the quirkiness of each of the characters. Their personalities all seemed so different, yet they liked and needed each other’s friendship along their journey! Please enter me in your drawing. I appreciate it. Thanks,Cindi
May 12th, 2008 at 9:34 am
I gotta have it - they represent all of us. Miranda is complex, my friends think my sex life is Samantha, but I know I’m Charlotte and what woman wouldn’t love her own column to support her shoe habit!
May 12th, 2008 at 11:02 am
Um, the SHOES? Do you remember those gorgeous pink heels Miranda broke her water on? There are lots of funny tragedies like this that makes me watch SATC over and over again. My sister is a bigger fan, though, so I would be passing this on to her.

I love Sex and the City because it put casual sex out there! SATC showed the world that smart, powerful and strong-minded women like sex too and there’s nothing wrong with playing the field.
May 12th, 2008 at 1:45 pm
I love Sex and the City for several different reasons:
the fashion, the characters, and the paralells to my life.
I love seeing new clothing designs and especially the shoes! I am from Tennessee. Carie opened me up to Manolo. The characters are hillarious and have great one-liners. I relate to Charolette and my mom is totally Samantha. My best friend is called Maranda and she IS a Miranda. (^_^)
May 12th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
I LOVE Sex & The City because it opened my eyes and showed me that ALL women pretty much have the same issues no matter the age, race, socioeconomic status, etc. And even thought it came out when I was in high school, I can most definitely relate now. SATC brought a new, fresh look to fashion & brought some really high end shoe designers to the mainstream (like Manolo). Also, don’t we all wish we had friends like Carrie, Miranda, Samantha & Charlotte; each different but the same in that they are women & friends who overcome the various obstacles. Oh and one time I took a SATC quiz & although my original fav character was Charlotte, I ended up being more like Carrie & when I really thought about & look back at many of the older episodes, I am more like Carrie; free spirited, untamed & not settling for anything less than butterflies
May 12th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
I love that all of the characters of Sex and The City never take themselves too seriously- just when you think everything is going their way, something always happens to take them down a notch. It’s very humbling and inspiring that such fabulous women will always need someone to lean on in hard times and someone to celebrate with during the good times. As in reality- life is always better when you have great friends to share it with.
May 12th, 2008 at 4:00 pm
Watching Sex and the City was a great way to spend a Sunday evening. I appreciated the characters and fashion. My favorite character was Charlotte because she was such an optimist, but I related to Miranda.
May 12th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
This show always made me laugh…it came across as real, funny. How we talk to each other. My boyfriend and I would watch and he was amazed at the topics, conversations, and situations that came up….he learned alot! It was always a show I raced home to see. Would love to have it! Can hardly wait for the movie
May 13th, 2008 at 7:00 am
I love SATC show because I can relate to some of the episodes and the ones that aren’t me I can see my girlfriends. (LOL) We (women) in general have experience many of the things these writers are just beginning to publicize for viewing pleasures. And its fun to watch. Because when something going on you can almost guess what the outcome could or should be. You can definite relate to what the character is suppose to be feeling! (been there and done that)
The fashions I really love! Because I love to shop! And its cool to see how they hook it up! The producers really do have some high end fashion going on here. I love identifying certain designers in this show it really cool. Then I play a game of doing the math! whoa girl friend has on 2 of my paychecks most times more.(LOL) These women are dressed to the max be it for a stroll or for dinner they are stopping clocks! Their characters are so different that we all can relate too and understand how they get along. Its truly a woman’s show. For men and 19-32 yr old females it could be educational (LOL). But for the women out there who love high end fashion, feel confident in calling the shots in their lives, are not afraid of being without a man, will do what they want when they want this show is certainly on your list and your friends list to be highly entertaining! Oh, did I mention the females who think their clock is running down! There’s something here for you too! LOL
May 13th, 2008 at 7:51 am
I love SATC because of the dynamics of the friendships, and the fashion! Carrie’s style is amazing, and I’d kill for her closet (and to be a size two!)
May 13th, 2008 at 8:36 am
SATC reminds me of my group of friends in college. After we got our first apartment, we would have SATC night every Sunday - we’d all get together, have some drinks, make some food - all the girls together no matter what.
May 13th, 2008 at 9:08 am
I LOVE SATC!!! I’m addicted, and it’s not only about the fashions, but also the characters. I love how each woman exemplifies a part of my personality.
May 13th, 2008 at 9:19 am
I’ve always loved the show because of the way the ladies have dealt with life and change and how their friendships keep going. And it doesn’t hurt to see people who have money living in NYC (unlike my friends).
May 13th, 2008 at 10:48 am
I like it, like many of the others, because of their relationships. I love how each woman has a different personality, but they connect on another level. Also, of course, you can’t forget the fashion..

I am maried with one son, and when i watch SATC I feel i can escape from whats going on around me . It takes me to a whole new city showiing how the lives of city women are and how we each have a little Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte in us. It shows what real problems women go through even if its finding the right pair manolos to go with the vintage dress you bought from a resale shop. The show portrays love, lust, tragedy, and hope all rolled into one but when all the clouds dissapear your girlfriends will be right there to help you through….or at least they should lol
May 13th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
Sex and the City came along at the perfect time in my life. After spending my entire 20s in long-term relationships, I found myself single in my 30s and not sure what–if anything–to do about it. Carrie & Co. made me realize I didn’t have to do anything at all; I could simply date who I wanted to, not date who I didn’t want to, and most of all, count on my girlfriends to be a constant in my life. Guys come and guys go, but your girls are forever, and this is what SATC reinforced to me.
May 13th, 2008 at 7:16 pm
I love Sex and the City because of the support each of the characters shows each other. The women are good role models because they are each independendly successful and happy with their careers, plus they show so many facets of what it is to be a woman. I love that they have the confidence to be who they are, whether their ultimate goal is to get a husband, like Charlotte, or have a good time, like Samantha. Mostly, I love that they have such unique personalities and quirks and manage to find common ground with each other, and are always there for each other. This shows true sisterhood.
May 14th, 2008 at 6:44 am
For one whole summer, my mother and I bonded by watching Sex & the City. Not like we’ve ever had issues bonding, but for some reason, we LOVED this show. And to consider how I’m still young…I don’t know. Our unabashed love for SATC is apparent when my brother or father walk through the living room when we’re watching it (at a horribly sexual part, usually) and we just laugh. We are seeing the move ironically the day I arrive home from college…I’m not even going to eat food first! Women in general probably relate to this show more than anything else out there!
May 14th, 2008 at 7:41 am
Sex and the City is my passion. No, scratch that. Carrie Bradshaw’s fashion is my passion. It’s been so fun to watch the style of her character (and the other girls’!) develop over the seasons. Pick me shoe blog!
May 14th, 2008 at 3:46 pm
I love it for the fashion, the footwear, the humor, the heartbreak, the sex, the storylines, the guest stars. I watch a rerun everyday. I feel like I know Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha. I want to have cocktails with them. I also watch it for Mr. Big. Oh I love Big.
May 14th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
I watched Sex in the City at least 10 times from beginning to end and still not sick of it. I love the shoes, purses, clothing. All my girlfriends and I always get together to watch. We are planning a night out for the SATC movie.

When SATC was on I was married with a small child and my close friends from high school.college all lived in different states. I woudl sit down and watch SATC after the child went to bed and it was my time to pretend my female friends were still around. I am so excited that the stories haven’t ended yet!
May 15th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
im a mother of 2 and married for 5 yrs i started watching sex in the city after my first son was born why i love love love sex in the city well there are a number of reasons . i love all the characters sense of style , i love how even through all their ups and downs carrie, samantha, charlotte, and miranda always seem to to reconnect as friends they have a great friendship and bonds between them can never be broken, i hope one day i can have something like that.i love the sex , the heartbreak and all that in the show.my favorite character is carrie because i love her style even though i can never have style like hers but a girl can dream cant she. i love her positive attude and outlook on life . i love how shes this awsome writter. i love how she is this upbeat type of person if i ever met her id love it. im sos excited that the movie is coming out and me and my friends are looking foward to seeing it , maybe me more than them.lol.
May 16th, 2008 at 6:28 pm
I love love love SATC!! My love stems from not only the fashion, friendships, and incredibly humerous situations but from the life lessons I have learned. No matter what kind of “drama” arises in my life, I know that there is an episode of satc that will turn my seamingly momentary devastation into a fun laughter filled lesson. It is the sense of “wow” if one of those women can get over it and do it so carelessly (while still looking completely fabulous) I can as well. Although I have never met them, and I know they are just characters, I feel as if they are my best friends. I can’t wait for the movie!!!
May 17th, 2008 at 7:23 am
I love SATC…can’t wait to the movie. It always so much fun to laugh and live vicariously through another. I would never do some of the things they do but wouldn’t it be fun and throw caution to the wind and become one of them.
May 17th, 2008 at 1:01 pm
SATC is the only show that really understands women on so many levels. I feel a connection to each of the characters as they traverse through life with real issues, real feelings and an incredible sense of style!!
May 17th, 2008 at 3:26 pm
I love this show because it simply puts everything out in the open. Theres no reason to hide girls!
May 17th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
I love the realistic portrayal of women torn between family, work, friends, and love!
May 18th, 2008 at 8:33 pm
I’m a writer, and I love to fantasize about being a big must-read columnist living in Manhattan and wearing fabulous shoes (without falling down) like Carrie. Sigh. (And of course I love the clothes!!!)
Dorky? Absolutely. But I’m totally okay with that.
Great contest — thanks!
May 19th, 2008 at 5:08 am
My favorite thing about SATC is the friendship between the women, and how supportive they are with each other.
May 19th, 2008 at 8:14 am
This show reminds me of how close my girlfriends and I were when it first premiered on HBO. Whatever was going on in our lives, we stopped it every Sunday night to get to together for cocktails, snacky-snacks and Sex.
We’ve all since married, had babies and moved away but those early Sex days are some of my best memories with MY girls.
May 19th, 2008 at 11:27 am
Oh my what can I say!! Except that I love absolutely love SATC!! And I can’t wait to go watch the movie!! It has been so exciting to watch each character and their see their styles develop and influence me!! I am definitely a Charlotte but find a little bit of me in each one of them. This show is great!! I love the honesty and openness among them and just how authentic they truly are about every topic!!! The power and sexiness of being a confident, independent and successful woman is great!! And i love shoes!! Fashion, romance, cocktails, friendship and cute cute men what else could a girl ask for!:) I love this show!!!!
May 19th, 2008 at 9:07 pm
Regardless of how sappy and overly dramatic this show could sometimes become, it was unbelievably **accurate** in portraying so many of the exact thoughts and feelings I experienced. I think the show is so loved because it “gets” us.
May 19th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
I like this show for the fact that it portrays single women over thirty as vital, attractive, and not desperate to get married (well, except for Charlotte). It is possible to enjoy the company of men without being desperate to land one, or to value it over the company of one’s female friends.
May 19th, 2008 at 10:28 pm
I love SATC for the friendships. I use to have friends like that when I was younger, but none of them lasted as long as the ones these girls have.
Thanks for the opportunity.
May 19th, 2008 at 11:04 pm
I like SATC since it helps me feel normal. I live out my fantasies of being the uber super women through all the characters. Each one embodies one ideal female characteristic.
Also, it’s fun and makes me smile and laugh and thankful I don’t date Mr. Big.
May 20th, 2008 at 8:18 am
I love the strong female friendships between women who are not all alike.
May 20th, 2008 at 8:32 am
Big Cities, Fashion, Friends, Love, what else could you ask for…oh yeah SEX. I love absolutely everything about this show. I’ve been waiting for 5 years for this movies to come out and im so excited I could pee.
May 20th, 2008 at 9:38 am
I love SATC is because the I find it fascinating how four women are such good friends. They are able to tell each other everything and anything. Sometimes there is a riff here or there. But at the end of the day, they are friends. This type of friendship is rare these days. I wish I had that type of friendship in my life.
May 20th, 2008 at 11:05 am
The camaraderie and friendship among the women, memorable characters that you could root for, the fashion, the city, etc. I miss this show!
May 20th, 2008 at 11:20 am
What can I say? I too LOVE Sex & The City! So much so, that my girlfriends and I are planning a Sex & The City party the night of opening.
There’s something special about the friendship that Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda have together. I love the crazy antics that each of them gets up to in their own quirky ways and that their friends are always there for them, no matter what. That’s what it’s all about. No matter how different or similar we all are, the commonalities usually comes out in our friendships.
As I’ve gotten older, it’s fun to watch SATC and vi”carrie”ously live through my favorite characters. It also reminds me of how grateful I am of my close friendships, some of which I’ve had since I was 5 years old. We still love to get together and put on a SATC episode to laugh, cry and become giggling girls again for an hour.
May 20th, 2008 at 11:57 am
I love the show for the fashion and the shoes, shoes and did i say shoes.
May 20th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
I love SATC - women and relationships - complex and funny. Oh and shoes!!
May 20th, 2008 at 5:00 pm
Love sex and the city because of FASHION love the dresses, shoes color I think has being a lead in the fashion industry for a long time that’s how we got to know uggs… it also guide us girls to dress classy no mater how old we are we can still look fantastic, thank you SATC for the help on fashion…
May 20th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
I like SATC because of how exciting it makes New York. it’s really a tribute to the City in many ways, after all as Carrie says it’s her greatest love of all
My upcoming bridal shower will be SATC themed actually.
May 21st, 2008 at 8:05 am
I love SATC because the women are so very different but they each play a key role in each other’s lives. Unlike other famous girlfirends (Laverne & Shirley, Mary & Rhoda) and more like the best girlfriends (Designing Women, Golden Girls) these 4 women represent many womand and that is hy so many women all over the world identify with them. I love this series for the way it promotes friendships between women and explores the transisition and maturation of true friendships over the years.

May 21st, 2008 at 10:14 am
I love SATC. Mostly because I love my female friends and I like that the characters in the show have been through so much together, yet they have always stood by each other’s side.
May 21st, 2008 at 12:46 pm
I fell in love with SATC for one reason - Chris Noth. Can anyone imagine the show without him? It would have been just an ordinary TV show about four single women, instead of something really special. If Carrie had ended up with Aidan or Aleksander, instead of Big, it would have been the biggest TV disappointment of all time, and we wouldn’t be sitting here now talking about a SATC movie.
May 21st, 2008 at 1:14 pm
I love SATC for the shoes, the clothes and the way the show portrayed the relationships women have. While most of us aren’t exactly like the characters, we do have a close circle of friends who know our secrets, will do anything for us and aren’t afraid to get in our faces. Thanks for the contest!
May 21st, 2008 at 1:53 pm
SATC is a great show about great clothes, great shoes, and most important of all - great friends!! I absolutely LOVE Sex and the City!!
May 22nd, 2008 at 10:07 am
I love SATC! I want every shoe.
May 23rd, 2008 at 1:02 am
I love the show and can’t wait to see the movie. It’s not only fun to watch, it always makes for a great girls night out or in. The characters are so diverse which allows you and your friends to have someone to relate too. So put your best ‘Choos’ on, pop out the cocktails and party with the SATC gals for this years movie Extravaganza!!!
May 23rd, 2008 at 8:32 am
What I absolutely love about SATC is not only the wonderful characters and there relationships with each other is having 5 adult daughters myself and through their relationships enjoying watching the exact same issues of the different characters in our own lives! We can’t wait to all go to the opening of the new movie…I think it gives all woman of all ages the hope of love!
May 23rd, 2008 at 9:06 am
I heart SATC because there is a piece of every character I can relate to..
May 23rd, 2008 at 5:02 pm
I love SATC because of the close friendships between the 4 women. It seems in so many TV shows (particularly in the young adult book genre) we see women as being catty to one another and it’s nice to see women having close, supportive relationships with one another.
May 24th, 2008 at 10:32 pm
I LOVE SEX IN THE CITY, because it’s so me. I’m single in my early 40’s and full of life. The ladies on SATC are superwomen. Their educated, attractive, sensual, single and looking for Mr. Right. Where is Mr. Right? There’s way too many women in the world and not enough good men. SATC can attest to that. However it’s great being a women, even if Mr. Right never comes my way.
May 25th, 2008 at 7:14 am
the all time best friends tv series and now a movie oh my gawds..we are going to have the biggest party to celebrate! we will be in las vegas for 5 yes 5 jewelry shows…we will find the theater with satc and celebrate, then when i get home to the bay area we will see it again ! ..best friends forever
can u imagine guys doing this? of course not
May 25th, 2008 at 8:50 am
I love so much about SATC! My number one reason is probably the fashion. But I connecting with the characters, my favorite are Charlotte and Carrie.
May 26th, 2008 at 8:34 pm
I love to see what they’re wearing, especially the shoes and purses!! I’m still saving up for my frist pair of manolo’s but someday!!
May 26th, 2008 at 8:44 pm
i love this show for so many reasons. obviously for the outrageous fashion they wear and lifestyles they lead, but also for their never wavering friendship. they’ve been there for each other through everything.
May 27th, 2008 at 8:03 am
I am a late bloomer! I started watching Sex and the City when it was over and in the reruns. And when I did, I was hooked and wondered why it took me so long to watch. All 3 of my daughters have been (and still are) raving fans and in fact, I bought the entire DVD set for my oldest daughter the year it first came out. I could watch the last episode over and over again. It is just perfect (as last episodes go) and every time I watch it I wish I could see what happens with Carrie and BIG…. and then viola! My wish came true with the movie. I cannot wait until May 30th to take my girls to see it. We may even go to New York for the full experience!
Have a wonderful day… love your blog because I love shoes (of course)!

The reason I love Sex and the City is because it came in to my life when I needed something all consuming, yet relatable. I was going through a lot in my personal live and I could find a connection with each of those characters. I loved them for their flaws and strengths. I was able to see the progression a woman makes in her life, career, relationships, self. It was nice to finally have a show, that was honest, funny, sexy and sweet. It always left you wanting more. I will forever, have a spot in my heart for this show and these characters. Even though, Samantha, Carrie, Charolotte and Miranda are ficticious characters, there is a little Samantha-sexy/confident, Carrie- funny/qwiky, Charolotte-sweet/optomistic, and Miranda-grounded/intelligent in all of us.

I would love to win this goodie bag give away (who wouldn’t) . SATC has not only become an iconic series, but it’s something that all women can relate to. It doesn’t matter what stage in life you’re at the series offer topics for everything. When I’m down I’ll watch a SATC episode if I’m happy the same..it’s a guilty pleasure that I don’t get tired of…

I Love ” Sex and the City” because every woman can see a part of themselves in each character. Whether it’s Carrie’s Fashion sense and Miranda’s career driven mind, or Samantha’s outrageous party attitude and Charlotte’s kind nurturing mothertype. Every girl can take a part of each character and say I’m A Carrie today, and the next day she can say I’m a Charlotte, and still that very same night say I’m a Samantha, etc….
I LOVE SEX AND THE CITY…and can’t wait for the premiere!
May 28th, 2008 at 11:50 am
I love SAC because it allowed me when I was laid up either recovering or on bed rest to laugh and feel girly even when I wasn’t looking or physically feeling it. It let us escape the daily grind of our life or our hospital beds and allow ourselves in their shoes…even if we couldn’t afford it. We felt it was ok to be girly and let our hair down.
May 28th, 2008 at 2:04 pm
I love Sex and the City because I think a lit but of me is each character. Carrie’s fashionable shoes and thoughful interpretation of the world impresses me. I love classy Charlotte, serious Miranda and sex kitten Samantha. Even though the show was outrageous at times. The friendships and special occassions were fun to watch. The dialog was always interesting. I loved watching the show and seeing how far they would go in the sexual topics.
I can’t wait it’s in the theater.

I just started watching the series and I really love it. It makes me laugh. I was diagnosed with an auto immune disorder two years ago(attacking my muscles) and I have tried very hard to keep my head above water and my family of three son’s and husband close. I will be fifty in June as I was thinking about the show the other day I wondered about reality and would there be real moments and then the breast cancer hit and before that the miscarry. I am impressed with how much I appreciated learning how to speak up and be real with my own friends, that’s real!!!!

My Girlfriends and I will be headed out FRIDAY NIght for Dinner and Drink and to watch SATC !! I’ll try to squeeze my Prego Footies into heels in Honor of these gals and my Gals too!!
Just like Carrie says: LIFE doesnt always turn out to be your Fantasy…That’s why you need Friendships that are REAL to get through it all!!
The SATC gals remind me of my girlfriends and our comrodery we have as Women/Mommys/ Wifeys!
May 30th, 2008 at 9:19 am
I love the show because it’s a great reality break. Samantha kills me with her attitude on life, love and the here after…..and who does’t admire a woman so carefree in reality who is still stunning at 50 and has a hot boy toy of ….what is it 27 on her arm. Its a great show to sit around with the girls and watch because in every group of friends … at least mine …I can see these woman’s personalities from the show in my little group…I just wonder if I’m the Samantha of the group !
May 30th, 2008 at 9:28 am
I love the show because it’s funny and it stars not one, not two, not three, but four funny women. Not since The Golden Girls have women represented so smartly and mightily. So forget the hatas, we need more SATC.
May 30th, 2008 at 10:37 am
I love SATC because it seams so REAL! It is very believalbe and almost makes you feel like you are part of the cast! Way more interesting than all these dumb “reality” shows on TV!
May 30th, 2008 at 11:39 am
I love the shoes on SATC! I’m not terribly bold in my clothing fashion choices, but I’ll wear any shoe, as long as it has a heel at least 3 inches!
I also love the friendship between the girls, it actually reminds me of my 3 friends, though we’re not as close as the SATC girls in terms of our dedication to each other. We need to work on that.
May 30th, 2008 at 12:55 pm
Oh how i do love shoes…shoes would be favorite part about SATC.
May 30th, 2008 at 1:19 pm
I love everything about SATC!! I have a little of each of the characters in my personality and so do my girlfriends. SATC let’s us take our savvy NYselves to a level we can only dream of. Wild free sexual escapades via Samantha, prude’ish reserve we wished we exercised at times like Charlotte, shopping fetish like Carrie that would have us filing bankruptcy and obstinate independence like Miranda that we’d love to engage, but fear being old and alone ;-). I/we live vicariously through these women and wouldn’t have an outlet without them. They reflect our friendships, good and bad; they reflect our strength and vulnerability; they are the quintessential NY women striving to have it all.
I love the series; wish it didn’t have to come to an end. This was the best thing that ever happened for women besides the WE channel!!!!
May 30th, 2008 at 2:43 pm
I love SATC because it’s funny and relatable. I find different charactertics of myself in each character! I enjoy watching the outrageous stories that I find tend to happen to me aswell. I laugh, I cry, I get mad, and fall in love with characters what’s not to like?
May 30th, 2008 at 10:38 pm
I JUST LOVE SATC BECAUSE THAT IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF HOW FRIENDSHIPS SHOULD BE. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE FRIENDS WE WERE WE WOULD BE ABLE TO RELATE TO THE SATC TOGETHER BUT I AM ABLE O RELAT TO ALL THE CHARACTERS MYSELF. I ALSO LOVE WATCHING SARAH JESSICA PARKER’S (CARRIE) OUTFITS SHE ALLOW ME TO OPEN MY SELF UP TO DIFFERENT STYLES OF FASHION..
May 31st, 2008 at 10:17 am
I love SATC because it gives me a chance to escape reality and imagine what life would be like if money wasn’t a question and you could buy any fashion you dreamed of! I also love seeing friends go through the trials of life and how they overcome the problems that they cross and are able to share in the joys of each others lives! I just can’t get enough!!
May 31st, 2008 at 11:13 am
Sex and the City is a show that has allowed my best friend and I to remain close even though we live 1700 miles apart. We watch the shows together, while on the phone. We both have a love of fashion, and also relate to the friendship between the four ladies.
The show is funny, relatable, fashionable, and just down right appropriately sexy. We have certainly been thankful to the show, and will continue to bond over it.
May 31st, 2008 at 2:38 pm
I love Sex and the City because when you watch it, you feel like you’re not alone. If you’re feeling down or confused about relationships or friendships or even yourself, you can just watch the show and have the reassurance that you’re not the only person in the world feeling the way you do, (even if their characters are only fictional.)
It’s very comforting.
May 31st, 2008 at 3:25 pm
I LOVE SATC!!! Of course, we all love the fashion, the gritty soul of the city, seeing ourselves and our friends in the characters, but I love the men! Lowest of the low sleaze-bag Richard Wright, Cowardly “he broke up with me on a post-it” Berger, Sexy sexy Dr. Robert, everyone’s favorite bitchy girlfriend Anthony, or so-adorable-you-want-to-eat-him-up Harry. Love them or love to hate them, it just wouldn’t be SATC without the guys!
May 31st, 2008 at 5:41 pm
I love Sex and the City because the characters embody aspects of my own personality, and through these characters, I learned how to express the myriad aspects of what makes me, me….In Charlotte, I see my idealistic side - I wasn’t married until last year, shortly after my 31st birthday - having lived in the South for many years, I felt like the “old maid” - Charlotte made it ok to be single and fabulous at 30+, and to never give up on true love. I ended up marrying my true love because I waited for him, instead of getting married simply to earn a “Mrs.” degree. In Miranda, I find my intelligence and refusal to “dumb myself down” - as a Human Capital Management professional with a master’s degree, I have “intimidated” many of the men I work with - Miranda made it ok to be smart and successful without apology. In Samantha, I see my courageous side and found comfort in my sexuality - in high school, I was the only woman to play on the MEN’S Varsity Soccer team at my high school. I also played for the MEN’S State Soccer Team. Samantha evokes the strength I was at times afraid to show - and taught me that it is ok to be just as good as (or even better than) a man. I was a virgin until I was 21, and seeing a woman like Samantha embrace her sexuality gave me the courage to throw off the old-fashioned ideals of “no sex before marriage”. Finally, Carrie reminds me of my inquisitive side and reminds me that it is ok to have high standards. I was raised to believe it was important to get married and have children to live a “fulfilling” life. Carrie showed me that having a career, and finding the “right” man (rather than settling) were equally important in fulfilling my dreams. Carrie, as the flawed icon of womanhood, helped promote the idea that a woman can make mistakes, learn from those mistakes, and with hard work and tenacity can still have it all, with no regrets.
Sex and the City provided great female icons and mentors for women everywhere - encouraging all of us to find our own paths, and to look great while we enjoy the journey.

I love Samantha! She is loud & opiniated & doesn’t give a *beep* what anyone thinks! I want to be here when I grow up
May 31st, 2008 at 10:07 pm
First off, i too have a foot fetish like all the girls in the show, particularly Carrie. So we have that in common. I like the interesting and very different lives that each woman lives. I like the fact that i feel like I’m right there with Carrie during her heartbreaks and disappointments because they are so much like my own. I like that regardless, Carrie always has herself to run back to after any break-up or loss. She feels incomplete, but she’s actually whole just being the awesome and interesting woman that she is, living in NYC–her real one true love.
That’s why the show is great.
May 31st, 2008 at 10:57 pm
I love SATC because I can relate to the episodes and to the lifestyles. We (women) in general have experience many of the things these writers are just beginning to publicize for viewing pleasures. And its fun to watch. You can definite relate to what the character is going through and feeling. I have been there many times. The latest and greatest fashion is fabulous! Love it! Great combination. Characters are hillarious - the foot fetish -free show giving guy that Charlotte seems to encounter, Carrie and her love triangle, Samantha and that fabulous episode with the loud mouth hookers! Love it all! Hillarious and thrill seeking! The producers really do have a keen sense of what is going on in a young womans life. Their characters are so different that we all can relate to and understand how they get along. Its truly a woman’s show. It is very educational for those men and women wanting to know more about the mystery of sex. It gives women a sense of direction, increased esteem, self confidence and the courage to be bold in bed, in relationships and in life!! Kudos to the Producers & Writers who know how to package the complete women in all 4 of these beautiful ladies!! Great Show - hope it stays on the air for decades!!
May 31st, 2008 at 11:20 pm
I adore Sex and the City. The characters are both hilarious and touching. Samantha’s bravado, Charlotte’s innocence, Carrie’s joi de vivre and Miranda’s professional demeanor capture the variety of personalities that can be bound in friendships. The disagreements and the agreements to disagree are very much like those I experience with my long time friends…and who can ever deny a good foot fetish story!
June 1st, 2008 at 7:47 am
SATC had episodes on things we only ‘think’ about. I still watch the reruns as faithfully as I did each new episode.
June 1st, 2008 at 9:38 am
I love SATC for many reasons. Like everyone else, I treasure the portrayal of the relationships between 4 very different women. I also love to see the fashions that I love, but am too shy (or poor) to wear/pull off. I like to reflect on the many ways that the women deal with their relationships with men (whenever someone breaks up with me, I am now able to comfort myself with the knowledge that at least it wasn’t done on a post-it note!) and how they balance careers with personal lives. I love a good love story - the one between Carrie and Manhattan is so powerful, not to mention the ups and downs with Big (and Aiden, and Big, etc.). Finally, and most of all, I like that I can see a little of myself in each of the characters (or should I say a little of each of them in me) and like to reflect on what it would be like to have to deal with some of the situations each of the women is placed in…I have realized that depending on the situation I can be a Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha, and, when I’m feeling my most free spirited, a Carrie!

Why do I LOVE Sex in The City…Well the answer to that is easy, The HBO series has been apart of my life since 1998 to now and I must say it has helped me get through some difficult times. I’ve gotten advice on men, fashion, friendship, culture and most of all LOVE. The show is emotional, entertaining, funny, sexy, spontanous and intelligent. Along with many other women, I am ever so thankful that the cast and crew has put the time and effort into making a the best movie EVER! Thank you Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall….”MY GIRLS”!
June 1st, 2008 at 1:04 pm
Sex and the City is an amazing tale of every ordinary woman out there. Every watcher can relate to any of these women.
There’s the fun and envious PR girl, the serious and stoic lawyer, the sensitive yet optimistic girly girl, and the fun and sexy practical journalist.
In the midst of all of the extreme fashion(materialistic things) and the hectic boys, the girls still remain to symbolize a unity of strong and very independent women. It also shows how by getting married, it doesn’t make a woman any different or less weak. Upon this, Sex and the City greatly influence the meaning of true friendship and how in the end, single or taken, you will have friends there by your side<3
i love sex and the city =)
June 1st, 2008 at 2:16 pm
I love Sex and the City because it relates to every woman’s life, but has a surreal element, that makes you wish you were them. Their disparities with love, amicable friendships with each other, and love for fashion are things I can relate to, but I only wish I could appear in Vogue, go on luxurious vacations with my friends, and own a pair of Molonos. I love Sex and the City, because I wish to be like them, but in a weird way, I already am.
June 1st, 2008 at 5:00 pm
SATC is my life!! well minus the really expensive shoes and clothes.
but honestly, every heartbreak, every little piece of admiration, everything they go through i can relate to. and if i can’t, maybe one of my three best friends can. The show is so much fun to watch; and even my guy friends get caught up in it.
Sex and the City is the only box DVD set that I have watched from beginning to end. (It took me a while of course, but I didn’t really get into the show until season 4; so I had to go back and do my homework after it was all over.)

I LOVE SATC BECAUSE IT GIVES WOMEN OUR OWN LITTLE GET AWAY. WITH ALL THE GLITZ AND GLAM…FASHION…MEN…AND SITUATIONS THAT EVERY GIRL CAN RELATE TO IN SOME WAY. I ALSO LOVE THE THEME SONG…(GIGGLES)
June 1st, 2008 at 9:53 pm
To put it simply- I love Sex and the City because it whole-heartedly makes me feel like a woman.
Sometimes I even question myself on my femininity, considering my general dislike for shopping and self-pampering. But after watching the film, some of those “love, life, friendship and more” questions were answered for me, as was the femininity question. Well, I’m certainly girly.. and I’m most definitely a woman. ;D I truly love Sex and the City!
I’m young, so I naturally have an enormous mind full of questions about love, life, friendship, and so much more! I can’t tell you how many times I teared-up during the show and especially during the movie, which I saw twice in one day.
June 2nd, 2008 at 2:38 am
I am the biggest fan of SATC in the world!! I live for it, breath it and think Carrie is the opitime of what we all strive for and want. Her clothes, hair and SHOES! are totally out of this world, I started my own collection of shoes now! She has the vulnerability we all have being young and out in the world scared. She has her friends that have daily dramas just as mine all have and we all try to help each other. The show gives us a highway to follow or avoid just by watching this show. Each lady has their flaws and strengths and as a viewer I know we all try to find those in ourselves and identify at different times with them, by seeing them in these situations, it makes us stronger and smarter in our own situations. I wish there were new episodes and many more movies!! I’m wearing my high heels to see this movie and I am a young, vibrant girl who will be strutting my stuff thanks to SATC and Carrie, of course!
June 2nd, 2008 at 6:39 am
I think that so many women are hooked on this show because we all have a part of Carrie, a part of Charlotte, a part of Miranda, and a part of Samantha all within us! I love this show..didnt miss an episode and never miss a rerun on TBS!!!! Love you girls..hope you continue to be close friends and make at least one more SATC movie!
June 2nd, 2008 at 7:51 am
I think that it renewed the idea that female friends are a necessity to get through everyday life. They each showed us a different personality that represents a small part of each of us. I LOVED the movie!!!
June 2nd, 2008 at 8:04 am
I love satc because it reminds me of all the good times with my friends. Although we are older now and cannot be together as often, when i watch an episode of satc it reminds me of how we always got together and watched it on hbo EVERY SEASON! no matter what!
June 2nd, 2008 at 8:14 am
I’m looking forward to seeing the movie. I definitely related to and empathized with Carrie in regard to her relationship issues.
June 2nd, 2008 at 8:25 am
Men and women alike are drawn to Sex and the City because it tells a story about four friends and their relationships, good or bad. I love Sex and the City because the story-lines are REAL and can be applied to everyday life. My addiction to the show is sooo bad — I purchased each of the DVD’s individually as they came out, then I also purchased the Hott Pink DVD Gift Set. I also special ordered the Manolo’s that Carrie (SJP) married big in for one of my close girlfriends. This show inspires me and everyone in my circle to be more fashion forward and giving.
June 2nd, 2008 at 8:52 am
This movie touches people in one way or another. It’s like Seinfeld combined with Grey’s Anatomy. You really do laugh and cry in the same episode and feel like you still need more episodes. I hadn’t seen this show and started renting the DVDs and watched all episodes in 2 1/2 days. I was sad when it was over…like I was losing my friends. I am so glad the movie is out now and I can share it with my husband…who is also now a big fan!
Thanks!

I LOVE SATC BECAUSE EACH OF THESE CHARACTERS REMINDS ME OF MYSELF AND MY THREE BESTIES!! PLUS THE FASHION IS KA-RAZY! I KNOW I’M ON TOP OF MY SHOE GAME IF I CAN KEEP UP WITH SATC.
June 2nd, 2008 at 9:49 am
The reason SATC is so fabulous is simply because everything it entails. It has provided weekend long marathons for my best friends & I, it allows you to relate to everything they are going through such as sex, love, friendships, family, getting through your 30’s+ with style, witt, smarts and simply being a woman. Not to mention its the most amazing show and MOVIE ever!!! I still DVR all the episodes.
June 2nd, 2008 at 2:32 pm
The television version of “Sex in the City” really helped me put into perspective the Mr. Big I was dating. Watching how Carrie dealt with the evasiveness and the pain that he caused her helped me to find the strength to finally end my relationship. From the movie trailers it appears she finally marries her Mr. Big. I wonder…. I can’t wait to see the movie.
June 2nd, 2008 at 6:26 pm
It’s cheap therapy that’s full of great advice. Plus you get to live vicariously through the girls …seriously living in Brisbane you can only dream of the life they have…who stays out till 3am on a Tuesday!

I love sex and the city. I go to a fashion school and my life revolves around fashion. I love labels and designers. For me sex and the city is fantasy adventure. And the sex is the icing on top of everything else. I love love love Sex and the City. I cant get enough of it.

I really love Sex in the City because it really captures the fantasies of most women. Who wouldn’t really like to have the afair with the rich boss man or the sexy firefighter you saw on the street. When I watch my collection of the episodes it is fun to imagine in diffrent scenes I am a character. My friends and I have actually played games with our personalaties to see which characters we are alike. We all used to gather at each others houses and watch the shows. It was great. Now once a year we have a sleepover and watch the episodes while the husbands watch the kids. But the show has really helped women not be so embarressed about their own sex lives. I think it helped liberate people from being so hush hush and that sex is not as taboo and people thought it once was. Way to go Sex and the City, counting the days till I see the movie this weekend.
June 3rd, 2008 at 11:13 am
I love Sex and the City because it seems like there is a part of everyone in all of the characters. Not everyone is like Samantha and not everyone is like Carrie all of the time. But sometimes you just want everyone to be happy like Charlotte. Anyone can find some part of themselves in one or all of the characters on the show. The show is great because it is not only about sex but it goes beyond and discusses relationships and getting older and growing up. It deals with issue that everyone has or will have to deal with at some point in their lives. It teaches people to be true to themselves and not worry about what someone else might think. Also it teaches you to never give up on love and to go out into the world and find whatever it is that you are looking for. This show is great, the movie was great! My life is now complete because of SATC!
June 3rd, 2008 at 11:29 am
SATC, to me, is a reminder of the good times with my girl friends. I have a group of 3 friends whom have been each other’s support group for the past 20 years. I fondly remember our escapes and fashion sense through the neon 80s, the “Clueless” 90s, and today.
The 4 of us went to see the SATC movie this past Sat (ie opening weekend). It was amazing to look around the theater to see women of all ages coming together to celebrate FRIENDSHIP.
SATC celebrates that. Regardless of every hiccup or high in life, it’s important to be able to share that with your close friends.
June 3rd, 2008 at 11:38 am
I love SATC! I love Samantha because she does who she wants when she wants and couldn’t care less what anyone thinks. You go Sam!
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:21 pm
simply put - the show is great because everyone can relate. Every girl has dated a “big”,or a “steve” or an “aiden”… every gay man has fallen for the hot model or has had someone reject them on a blind date…… everyone struggles with their job and trying to find their “place” in the world….. It’s about friendships - love - and life. And watching gives everyone a sense of comfort.
June 3rd, 2008 at 1:52 pm
I think that the dynamic of the four women make for a very balanced friendships.
June 3rd, 2008 at 3:54 pm
I just saw the movie and I couldn’t get enough…I like the fact that they portray four women with totally different views on life and how they except one another. They don’t try to change one another and support each other through out the good and bad. They take each other into their lil adventures and crisis that are very real and try to grow, nor are they afraid to show their vulnerability to one another. That is true friendship with out censure and is a reflection of real friendships women create in a life time. I love these four characters their endearing and depict women in a positive light, it’s empowerment ..but also showing the sacrifices we as women make to be financially independent or show that some times the fairy tale ending we hold on to some times doesn’t turn out to be one…but you can cope & move on to a different chapter
in your life to something even better.
I love this series, the movie and SATC will and has become not only iconic
but legendary…10 years from now you can watch an episode and still relate…
June 3rd, 2008 at 5:56 pm
Hello,
This contest is an awesome idea, for the revival of an awesome story!! I can’t wait to see the movie, because i’m a HUGE fan. My favorite character is Samantha, because i tend to be a little crazy and open with my sexuality than most people. Before the great Samantha there weren’t that many women on tv that were sexually strong and not portrayed as the typical “slut.” Samantha is refined, intelligent, and beautiful the way she is!
But all the SATC characters rock big time, and the combination of personalities in the show are magical. The lessons on love, life and friendship are timeless!! Viva SATC!
June 3rd, 2008 at 5:59 pm
Last night my girlfriends got dressed up, drank cosmopolitans and walked to the local theater to watch the new SATC movie! I’m just getting over a really hard break up and it was the perfect night out with my girls. SATC always highlights problems that real women go through… and of course, the shoes!!
June 4th, 2008 at 6:41 am
I love Sex and the City because me and my friends watch it religiously and we have all identified ourselves with the characters (I’m Samantha:). Plus it gives us a chance to relax and drink cosmos together!
June 4th, 2008 at 7:57 am
My favorite thing about SATC is getting together with my friends to watch. I also love the fact that SATC focused on relationship issues that we all can relate too! We saw the movie opening day and then proceeded to spend the rest of the evening with cosmos and champagne!
June 4th, 2008 at 9:01 am
Why do I love Sex and the City? Well, because it is FABulous! Nothing is better than watching four women being completely honest with one another while dressing in brilliant attire.
June 4th, 2008 at 10:54 am
To tell you the truth they are just so funny! daring, wild and even nasty but oh how they crack me up. I also like the clothes
June 4th, 2008 at 1:40 pm
Love the laughs, tears and hot guys!
June 4th, 2008 at 3:08 pm
I love SATC because it is “in your face and to the point”. It portrays women in real situations, what they really think, what they want to do, how they suffer, how they enjoy life, etc. It shows the importance if friendship- no matter what. And with the movie- it proved in the end…you always have your friends.
June 4th, 2008 at 9:34 pm
I didn’t start watching SATC until the final season was over. I was helping my friend move and she had it On Demand and I fell in love. I immediately went out and rented every season! Those woman are all so strong it’s a total inspiration! They are all just following their dreams and conquering them! They are what I hope to be some day!
June 4th, 2008 at 11:16 pm
I am a die hard SATC ask any friend/family member of mine. Why?
1. Friendships -after turning 30 a lot my friends had moved further and further away. While some still lived in the city, being single & fabulous, many moved to the suburbs, where housing is affordable and reared their family. Back in highschool, I was always surrounded by my girlfriends and we were always there to make each other laugh and share a good cry. Now , we live by email or cellphone call. The girls of SATC have that bond that I truly miss and I live through them. Remember the episode when Carrie moved to France with Alexandar Petrovsky? The empty feeling roaming the city by herself without her girls- well that is now me.
2. OMG! the fashion. I’m not going to lie that I love/lust looking at the clothing, the shoes, the accessories, the bags and the SHOES!!! Someday, I vow to own a pair of the mary jane manolo blahnik in patent black. And I will definitely post it here with me wearing them. Manhattan is the epi-center of fashion and seeing the girls wear these awesome clothes, I really think we live vicariously through them.
3. The girls’ characters- each of us may find a little bit of carrie, charlotte, miranda, or samantha. Each character is extremely unique and super funny.
I seriously went through a tv drought when the series ended. But when I heard about SATC - THE MOVIE in production, my thought was, let’s just say FABULOUS!
If you haven’t seen the movie yet. Let’s just say “HANGISI” may have you running to manolo blahnik in NYC on June 9.

It’s the characters I love ~ each of the women is written so well that they feel like real friends with real problems. I think the strength of the show is in showing each of them dealing with life as it comes at them…Charlotte’s infertility, Sam’s cancer, Miranda’s unplanned pregnancy, Carrie’s love life (!)…I’ll bet every one of us knows someone who had to deal with these problems in their lives. Heck, some of US even have had to! So, while the show is pretty and the fashions awesome, I watched it for the girls. Long live the girls!

First I must admit: I am a late bloomer when it comes to SITC. I discovered it after I relocated from New Orleans after the hurricane. I needed something to watch other than the torture the news reported about my home town. After renting the first season I found my stress washing away by watching four friends talk about my favorite things: fashion, love and FUN. I was able to recount days in my city when I experienced some of the same things the SITC crew were going through. Needless to say I was going back to blockbuster every week to follow up on the four friends who unknowly added me to their powerful bond : love of each other and their city!

I’m such a sucker for Friendship, Love, Comedy, and a wee bit of Drama (as it relates to relationships), so naturally, I’m a sucker for SATC!!!! OMG, I forgot to mention FASHION!!!! I’m an admitted ShoeAHOLIC!!! ‘And I love Carrie’s sense of style. It’s indeed her own style. I too, like to be a bit off beat with my fashion; however, since I work a very STUFFY traditional 9-5, I don’t always get to explore that side of fashion with my everyday work attire unless I do it by way of SHOES. I guess that’s why I’m addicted. Anywho.. the SATC crew allow me to live through them, and appreciate my extremely wonderful friends, great fashionistas of the worlds, and all of the ShoeAHOLICS worldwide!!

I love SATC for the fiercely loyal friendship that the women share… as I grew into my late 20s (and now early 30s) watching the show, it was good to see these women - like my friends - stay so loyal and attached to each other…
I LOVE how Charlotte’s protective instinct shows during the movie…
(and sweet mary, those clothest!!)

I love Sex and the City. It’s one of those shows that can make you cry, laugh, and get angry over all at one time. This show makes me proud to be a women in this day and age. It truly shows how far women have come and I think it is a very empowering show, not to mention the fashion and killer shoes don’t hurt.

I love Sex in the City because besides for being one of the the greatest shows of all times. It also has practical application in very day life. I mean the show taught us so such, like how to make a man beg for it (the tantrum sex class). To Samantha’s very other day discussion about giving the perfect bj…that’s a big one. And one of my personal favorites it also us style, style and lots more sexy style

SATC…ah so much I could say about why I adore the show. It could be the glamorous city lifestyle, a fun guide to the hotspots of fabulous New York. It could be the hilarious/heartwrenching/exhilarating/uplifting plethora of situations which the characters find themselves in. It could be the gorgeous fashion and to-die-for shoes. It’s all those things, but thinking back on the show (and the movie) it’s the characters. All are powerful successful women in their own right, even though they’re so different. Every girl has a little of each character in them, sassy Miranda, sweet hopeful Charlotte, successful vixen-y Samantha, and fun-loving thoughtful vulnerable Carrie. The character interactions are fabulous. These four people, with personalities and life philosophies that span the spectrum are still close/best friends who are always there for each other and get different things from each other’s friendships. Sure they sometimes screw up and fight, but in the end, they’re always there for each other, to talk over brunch, grab a drink and just spend some fabulous time together

I’m a Charlotte wannabee, and a Miranda in real life. I adore Carrie’s fashion and wish I could dress like her everyday. Oh the glamor!
Their friendship is so strong and inspirational. They are always there for each other, no matter what. Makes you wish you had 3 friends like that… It seems so ideal.
I’m a satc fanatic. Because it’s not all about sex, it’s about life…

I love SATC because it reminds me of myself and my friends. I think all of us have a little bit of each character in us (as most women do), but each of us is more like one of the characters than the others. I can’t always be with my friends (we are spread across the country) but this brings us together. We used to watch SATC together on the phone and laugh and cry and laugh again. I love this show because beyond all the high fashion and great shoes (which I love!) it is about the real, raw friendships and bonds between women.

SATC Night was a Big Deal to my friends and me. We often got together to watch new episodes, and we’d disect them for days! Now we’ve got a big group going to the movie this weekend, and I can hardly stand the wait!

SOOOOOOO MAAAAANNNNYYY reasons to love SEX AND THE CITY! Who wouldn’t love Patricia Field’s visionary styling? Aside from the relationships in SATC, the wardrobe is TO DIE for! Each character is sooo amazing in their own quirky way! OMG THE DIOR EXTREMES IN THE MOVIE!! i loved them!
Personally, the most relatable character was Carrie. Her relationships with Aiden and Big were exactly like my own! Who do you choose? The perfect man (Aidan)? Or the ever charming unattainable man that’s hurt you but you just can’t get over (Big)? I’m currently with my Aiden… but my Big keeps butting in. I really feel like Carrie’s character made me feel like I was not alone in my problem : /
anyway….
I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!
FASHION, FRIENDSHIP, RELATIONSHIPS!
EVERY ASPECT!!
CHOOSE ME!!
Ask me any question about the series… I’ll answer it!
