Shoe Deal of the Day – Ecco New York Tall Boot

I’ve found that sales often consist of off-season merchandise, atrocious looking beasts that no one be caught dead wearing, or limited sizes (read: not mine). As a bargain hunter though, that doesn’t stop me from casing the sales racks and innerly squealing with glee when I find something that’s priced right, looks nice, and fits.

Today I found a shoe on sale that’s pretty basic, but one essential for the closet. It’s the classic black tall boot – perfect with a pair of snug jeans or long skirt.  The Ecco New York tall boot is already a great deal for $53.90 at Nordstroms (70% off the retail price for $179).   Even better,  I did my due diligence and checked out Zappos.  If you call Zappos to  pricematch the price of $183 to Nordstroms price of $53, you’ll great these beauts (er, boots) for approximately $42 !!!  I’ve pricematched with Zappos lots of times and they have the best customer service – it’s easy peasy.

Sizes are pretty amply on Nordstroms (sizes 35-42).  If you are the lucky owner of a size 36, 37, 41 shoe, come on down.  You can qualify for the $42 Zappos pricematch.
