Shoe Fleur

If you find yourself in Paris this summer, you might want to check out Michel Tcherevkoff’s solo collection “Shoe Fleur, A Footwear Fantasy,” which will be on display in Paris’ Le Bon Marché from June to August 2008. If you can’t make it there, you can buy “Shoe Fleur” the book (for just $23) on Amazon. I love these photos because they conceive of shoes as organic, beautiful, resplendent, poised, and architectural; plus, his breathtaking, surreal designs use two of my greatest passions: shoes and flowers.
