Shoe-han Shoes

Dina Lohan was in the Marc Fisher showroom today to announce the Lohan shoe line for Long Island based LoveMyShoes.com, called Shoe-han. Dina will also be the spokesperson for LoveMyShoes. I wonder if they will wear their shoes. I have noticed that there are only a couple of celeb designers who really wear their shoes.
Look at the table in front of her and you will see a patent leather peep toe heel, a patent leather moc and a patent leather sandal.
Here is a close up of a bootie that she later modeled.
It will be interesting to see this line of shoes because this is the same family that gave us leggings with knee pads, and spray-on-tan. (shudder)
Would you wear shoes by Dina Lohan? I won’t.
Edited because R5 has no tact and apologises for being harsh and judgemental.

I love that Gwen Stefani wears her line & accessories. She really seems to support the styles she produces. It reamains to be seen if the Lohan will follow suit; many celebs just lend their name & wait for the $$$ to come in.
I would probably buy a shoe if I loved it. But, I don’t tend to pay more ‘just’ for a celeb name, so it wouldn’t be a deciding factor. Style vs. comfort & overall value really play a lot into that decision.
But why did you have to recall us to the leggings with kneepads….that’s just one of the worst not-so-subtle message I’ve seen put into clothing. About on par with plastering a word like “Juicy” across one’s rump. As a mother w/daughters – *shudders*- ‘Nuff said on that.

I think the hair extensions comment is low blow. When almost every celebrity you see is sporting hair extensions. If we knew what some of our favorite shoe designers were up to would we continue to wear the shoes. I dont know. So yes i think that is an unfair questions. I totally agree with you these low end designers need to start wearing their brands.

My feet are too precious to wear not-shoe designer shoes. And I'm not talking about only over expensive shoes. Shoe is a highly technical device. You should know that since you grew up with. I bought shoes for nothing in small stores in Italy. They're still comfortable because Italy know how to balance heel, sole and the shape. I don't think someone without any experience in shoes would know how. It's the only reason why I wouldn't buy Shoe-han shoes. I agree that Lamb seems like well made, but I never tried one pair
The breast implants at 14 are questionable. (Is that really true?) But all Lohan look like fine with that. Mother daughter alike, I guess.

MM, I just read the book about how luxury companies have cheapened their items. After reading about the CEO of many of these groups, I have reconsidered which groups I purchase from.
The extension comment was probably a low blow, her are obvious enough that me, a hairing impared woman, can see them. I will be kinder next time.
