Shoes and flowers
Posted on April 24th, 2007 by shoesense under Platforms, Sandals, Slingbacks…a match made in (fashion) heaven, to be sure. After the constricting straitjacket of winter, flowers are in bloom everywhere, much to our delight. And by everywhere I don’t only mean my back garden, public parks, or random window sills, but also women’s shoes. Floral prints are big this season (though, let’s be honest: when were they completely out of style? You wear them, your mother wore them, your grandma wore them, and so did your grandma’s grandma, to be sure). And how can you resist them, when they’re attached to an adorable peep-toe slingback platform like this Bettye Muller sandal? $395 at Neiman Marcus.
