Shoes at the MTV Music Video Awards

The MTV Music Video Awards were held in Radio City Music Hall, Sept 13. The MTV awards are always entertaining because, in contrast to the Acadamy Awards, the singers allow themselves to dress completely over the top. Christian Louboutin designs made a big showing.
Katie Perry showed up in silver glitter Pigalles. They are fun shoes all the way around.
Nicky Hilton came in black CL studded peeptoe platform pumps. When I first saw these I was awed by them, but after seeing them on Nicky, I am beginning to reconsider. They are nice, but not the lust shoe I once thought they were.
Jennifer Lopez wearing CL lace booties with skin heels. The closest thing I found was $1785 at Neiman Marcus
Kara DioGuardi wore a pair of black cuff Rock and Republic Athena sandals. $300 at Zappos Couture.
Leighton Meester’s Guissepe Zanotti Fan Shoes were crowd favorites.
I was critical of Kristen Stewart at the MTV Movie Awards because she wore an Yigal Azroual and black Converse shoes. I thought it was unimaginative. She looked like a million bucks last night. She is working on a movie about Joan Jett, which explains her hair. Her dress was Valentino with Rock and Republic studded pumps. Hers was my favorite look of the night.
Here is Mr. and Ms. Class-act. (Taylor Swift should have put her stillettos to use and swift kicked him off the stage.) What a jackass. Kanye needs to stop drinking. Amber needs a bra.
Shudder. I want to disinfect my eyeballswith alcohol after looking at them.

I agree that Kristen looked amazing. I personally thought she looked fabulous at the MTV Movie Awards though too (for the record, she was wearing the Converse because she'd injured her ankle filming New Moon in Italy a couple of days earlier. Heels were the original plan to go with the dress.)
