It’s Paris Fashion Week again. Besides the lovely gowns on full display were some pretty artful shoe creations. Some of the more interesting shoes included:
Christian Dior
These curved platforms really were as uncomfortable as they look. From Style.com’s blog, Karen Mulder, marking her return to the runway (yay!), reported:
When I did runway, they didn’t have shoes like this. They’re insane now.
Chanel
Leather thigh high boots with sequined sides. I wonder how long it took to put these boots on.
Armani Prive
My personal favorite. These lovely slingbacks with bow accents are glitzy and cute.
Jean Paul Gaultier
Shoe malfunction?
Dumbo ears
Givenchy

You can almost see the disco lights flashing in the background. There is a definite 70's influence, common between all of the shoes on this page. Mentioning the boot-pants, however that's something all new on the evolutionary schedule of shoes. Even the patterns including the leapord print and the scaled boots, were all very prominent in the mid-70's. Want these items? Do your shopping at studio 54, or the next best- online shoe-shopping.
