I think I know what my next address will be. Please send all correspondence to Shoesense, Saks Fifth Avenue, NY, 10022-SHOE.
That’s right, shoes got their own zip-code in order to accommodate the store’s shoe salon on its completely redesigned eighth floor. 10022- SHOE will open with a gala celebration this September. This is the first time in U.S. history that a floor is granted its own designated zip code by the United States Post Office. There will even be a set of limited edition stamps commemorating the event. Everyone, bow to the power of SHOES!
Steve Sadove, Chairman and CEO, Saks Fifth Avenue said, ’The new eighth floor will be an impressive venue for our world-class collections and a true landmark for shoe lovers.’ Let’s count the ways how: There will be a VIP room for private shoping. There will be refreshments. There will be an expert shoe repair and refurbishing service will be on hand. There will be instant updates on shoe inventories through state of the art computer terminals.
And best of all, there will be wonderful, exquisite, beautiful shoes everywhere.
I can hardly contain my excitement in anticipation!
