Bonjour! I’m excited to report back on my first trip to Europe. I have to say that Paris lives up to most of the cliches and stereotypes, but in a good way.

First off, the fashion. As shown on these fashionable Parisians, Paris truly is one of the fashion capitals of the world. This season’s flat trend was on full display.

But sometimes, on the many unpaved parks in Paris, I found that fashion was sacrificed over comfort. I wonder how many stones this lady picked up.

The city itself is also quite diverse and has its own unique style. I was pleased to find these boots, which oddly enough reminded me of Christmas, next to the Eiffel Tower.

And this busy stroll-pushing mom who found the time to remain chic (though I’m not sure about comfortable).

Besides the endless and gorgeous window displays at such pastry shops like Gerald Mulot, my mouth was also drooling at fashionable establishments like the Repetto store. This place was brimming with ladies.

In school, we studied the French revolution. I found a little shoe revolution in Paris. Witness the fantastic shoe display at Vicento Rey: Createur Chaussures Accessories. Sigh, I had to settle for visiting their website as this gallery, like many other shops, were closed on Sunday. :(

It was tough to leave such a beautiful city, but in the end, this home-sick and wearied person just needed a to rest her feet.
