Shoes on TV: Dollhouse
Posted on April 27th, 2009 by jitterbugbaby under L.A.M.B.If any of you are watching Joss Whedon’s new show, Dollhouse, you may (like me) be watching the shoes kind of obsessively.
This past week, Echo wore a pair of heels that I couldn’t look away from. Here’s a screenshot.
In this case, it was actually because I thought they looked clunky and distracting, so… not a thumbs up.
But the last episode sent Sierra out in a pair of gorgeous criss-cross strappy pumps with what just might be my favorite of this season’s trends: heel zippers (which of course you can’t see in this shot).
What are these pretty puppies? Thankfully something you can get your hands on if you’re feeling so inclined.
They’re the Tammy by L.A.M.B. (not to be confused with yesterday’s featured Flavia), and you can snag them for $349 at Heels.com.

I can’t say as I’d recommend trying to run away from government operatives in them the way Sierra did in the episode. But they’re surely pretty shoes.

I didn’t realize you were watching Dollhouse too! Funny, this was the 1st episode where I considered re-watching the episode online just to get a still-shot look at the shoes. LOL. Now I don’t have to.

Love those shoes! And it looks like EW tracked down the rest of her outfit too: http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20235659_20235667_20269451,00.html

Just one of the many reasons why Joss is a genius.

I still miss Firefly, though.
I’m still crossing my fingers that Fox will give this one a fair chance. Unfortunately, they seem to have staff who can pick really great shows but then the producers often won’t support it or can’t figure out how to market them. I’m tired of Fox canceling all their best shows that women love as they pursue the elusive 18-34yr old male market that just isn’t watching as much TV as 10 years ago. Come on, my shopping dollar should be worth something - I make most of the $$ decisions in my household - KWIM?

Chinese Laundry has a similar pair for a lot less.

The actually kinda look similar to the one in Dollhouse because these have the platform that the L.A.M.B version doesn’t.

As soon as I saw this episode,I went online right away and googled pages of shoes to try to find these and I gave up. I’m so glad the info is finally here, thank you so much!

THANK YOU!! I am not normally a shoe person, but I have been trying to track down these shoes FOREVER. I thought they were a fairytail… I have loved them from the first zip of the heel in “A Spy in the House of Love”!!
I’m loving Dollhouse too, the show and the shoes! I don’t know where my recent shoe obsession came from, but man oh man I want those shoes!

I’m pretty certain Sierra’s shoes were actually Chinese Laundry “Love Me” because the zipper did not have a metal pull-tab. Also, like someone said before, they have a platform. Good news is they’re only $89! More good news? I have them and strange as it is, I can imagine being able to run around government hallways in them! They’re very comfortable for that 5″ sexy lift!
