Shoes on TV: Dollhouse

If any of you are watching Joss Whedon’s new show, Dollhouse, you may (like me) be watching the shoes kind of obsessively.
This past week, Echo wore a pair of heels that I couldn’t look away from. Here’s a screenshot.
In this case, it was actually because I thought they looked clunky and distracting, so… not a thumbs up.
But the last episode sent Sierra out in a pair of gorgeous criss-cross strappy pumps with what just might be my favorite of this season’s trends: heel zippers (which of course you can’t see in this shot).
What are these pretty puppies? Thankfully something you can get your hands on if you’re feeling so inclined.
They’re the Tammy by L.A.M.B. (not to be confused with yesterday’s featured Flavia), and you can snag them for $349 at Heels.com.

I can’t say as I’d recommend trying to run away from government operatives in them the way Sierra did in the episode. But they’re surely pretty shoes.

i got the chinese laundry ones, because i couldnt find the tammy ones anywhere (pretty much sold out everywhere) and plus, i like to try on shoes in store so that way i know what i'm getting. they're actually extremely comfortable! they're a great buy; well worth the money.

Glad you found something. I was getting ready to pick up Dollhouse soon just to get a picture of these in motion.

I tired to post images of the shoe, but apparently the links to picasa weren't . . .something.
I found some boots that . . .will do the job for me, although they're not the exact same style, I'm pretty excited about them though

Best I could do – the fight scene is pretty fast-paced and the lighting isn't focused on the shoes, more's the pity.

I'm getting to the point where I need to save up for a DVR so I can check out shoes on shows like Dollhouse, Castle & Leverage.

Hm, finding it a bit difficult to find good shots of these!
This one's pretty dark, but you can see the full length of the boot:

I'll pull out my dvd's and try to get a better cap.

Do you have a screenshot. I am not seeing repeats yet & don't yet own the series on disc (though I will have to do that once a 'complete series' set comes out as my 8 year old loves the show). I can't remember that specific boot right now, unfortunately.

I agree that the shoes on Dollhouse have been pretty epic. My current search is for the boots that Echo wore during the restaurant brawl with Paul at the end of s1ep6. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

I'm pretty certain Sierra's shoes were actually Chinese Laundry "Love Me" because the zipper did not have a metal pull-tab. Also, like someone said before, they have a platform. Good news is they're only $89! More good news? I have them and strange as it is, I can imagine being able to run around government hallways in them! They're very comfortable for that 5" sexy lift!

THANK YOU!! I am not normally a shoe person, but I have been trying to track down these shoes FOREVER. I thought they were a fairytail… I have loved them from the first zip of the heel in "A Spy in the House of Love"!!
I'm loving Dollhouse too, the show and the shoes! I don't know where my recent shoe obsession came from, but man oh man I want those shoes!

As soon as I saw this episode,I went online right away and googled pages of shoes to try to find these and I gave up. I'm so glad the info is finally here, thank you so much!

Chinese Laundry has a similar pair for a lot less.

The actually kinda look similar to the one in Dollhouse because these have the platform that the L.A.M.B version doesn't.

I still miss Firefly, though.
I'm still crossing my fingers that Fox will give this one a fair chance. Unfortunately, they seem to have staff who can pick really great shows but then the producers often won't support it or can't figure out how to market them. I'm tired of Fox canceling all their best shows that women love as they pursue the elusive 18-34yr old male market that just isn't watching as much TV as 10 years ago. Come on, my shopping dollar should be worth something – I make most of the $$ decisions in my household – KWIM?

I didn't realize you were watching Dollhouse too! Funny, this was the 1st episode where I considered re-watching the episode online just to get a still-shot look at the shoes. LOL. Now I don't have to.
