Something different, something new
Posted on January 23rd, 2007 by shoesense under Pumps, Shoe Stores, Shoe TrendsDon’t you, some times, crave for something new, something off the beaten path, but still something wearable and elegant? (the latter is often quite more difficult to achieve than the former, and the combination of the two is a hard one).
If you do, here’s a website for you: Te casan, a brand new group founded in 2006 by ‘global investors’, who attracted six young, innovative designers with impressive resumes (Alexander McQueen, Versace, Dries van Noten, Dolce & Gabbana, etc.). Their aim is to ‘redefine’ luxury by keeping prices a little below your average Manolo Blahniks (pumps are typically under $300) and by producing limited editions–each shoe is only produced in 30 to 60 pairs. Having something so very few other people have–now, that’s luxury! You can browse their designers’ offerings on their website. Oh, yes, I really like that they name their designers so you can associate a name and an ‘inspiration’ for each model. Here are, for your viewing pleasure, a few pumps from their collection, all priced at about $275. Enjoy!

I love these shoe designs. How can I order the pair
in the middle, and show me more.
Thank You,
I love your shoe designs. How can I order a pair?
And show me more designs.

Susan–this post is over one year old, and Te Casan’s collection has changed in the meantime. Go to their webpage (http://www.tecasan.com/) to see more of their design, go to their boutique in NY (http://www.tecasan.com/Content.aspx?Page=Boutique) or contact them directly to ask about that particular shoe from last season. Good luck!
