Sophia Bush at the Art of Elysium’s Charity Event

Wedges are hardly ever the shoe style of choice on the red carpet and rightly so – they are typically way too casual. But I was happy to see Sophia Bush veering away from the usual shoe suspects like Choo, Louboutin, and Casadei at the 2010 Art of Elysium’s Black Tie Charity Gala. Sophia Bush wore shoe designer Aruna Seth‘s suede wedge with her Reem Acra red gown. Each shoe by Aruna Seth has signature Swarovski embellishments – even on their boots. What’s nice is that the shoes also have special leather cushioned padding to offer comfort for the shoe wearer’s feet. I wonder if that’s why Sophia looks like she’s enjoying herself – she isn’t teetering in her heels and the cushion is aiding in the comfort department.

Nice shoes with a unique design. I would prefer it when wearing a short dress too so that the shoes reveal its beauty.
