Spot the Shoe on Sale: Alexander Wang Trish Mule

I missed the Alexander Wang flash sale on Gilt earlier this week and I also won’t be present for his NY sample sale coming up in August so I’ve resorted to persuing the usual e-commerce sites for Alexander Wang’s interpretations of casual, chic, and yet still work appropriate street style.
I almost cried when I saw these Alexander Wang Trish loafer mules on sale for 70% off at ShopBop ($172). You can look prim and proper in these mules, but they have a certain edginess to them and putting these in wedge form was a fantastic idea. They are still selling for over $500 at other sites, but alas, there is one shoe size left and I am not a size 36. For a brief moment, I debated whether I could snip off my big toe to cram into these shoes. I kid, okay not really, I really did consider ways to make the size 36 work on my size 37 but in the end, I decided to give someone else the opportunity to wear these bidirectional shoes. Size 36s, I so envy you!
