Spot the Shoe

Today’s spot the shoe is Haider Askermann’s bootie. This is a slick looking bootie with a zipper and mock lace-up closure that snakes around the boot. It has a 4.7 inch heel and a 1 inch hidden platform.
Available at the The Corner for $712
Available at Barneys for $750. Incidentally, Barneys online has several designer shoes on sale. I spent quite a bit of time there. I have a couple in my shopping basket. Haven’t purchased them yet…..yet.
A wedge version is available at Saks Fifth Avenue for $558.
These are a lot of fun.

The spiraling black zipper absolutely puts the cherry on top of the sundae! 750$ is a bit too steep of a price for me, but as a shoe lover I have to say it's probably worth every penny. Too bad I don't have every penny though. Beautiful style!

I agree, the combination of lacing and a zipper across the top of the boot is very sexy. The price is a bit out of my range, I'll have to do a little research and hopefully find a cheaper version.

I like the irony of using work boot trimmings in this bootie. Zippers are pretty common, but this is the first I've seen that uses lacing — sexy!
