Let’s start with hysterical highlight of the evening Giuseppe Zanotti, who clowned around with his fashion plate, Ashanti.
Ashanti said in her speech that when she wants to make her boyfriend realize how hot she is, she puts on a pair of Zanottis.
Giuseppe couldn’t resist doing the headscarf look for us after his speech. Is he going to sweep us off to Arabia?

Well, Shoeblog is run by dedicated shoe-enthusiasts whose main goal is to write about any and every aspect of shoes. The site is written by a group of women who are all independent and write as topics appeal to us or as seem appropriate in predicting or following shoe-trends. Since we are all slightly different in our experiences and taste, we are attracted to different styles and brands. And, there has been an explosion of shoe brands over the last 10 years, meaning we have many companies & not enough hours in our days to cover them all. As with many bloggers, blogging is time-intensive, and for many of us here, this is our 2nd, or 3rd job in addition to a traditional non-fashion day job.
As to photo credits, perhaps this writer (who lives in NYC) did not know everybody in the industry by site. She may not have had a chance to introduce herself or our blog. Certainly, no offense is intended.

Shoe Blog Editors, I am not sure how you missed one of the shoe industries most buzzed about current topics: the release of new brand, Lauren Jones Footwear. Lauren Jones Footwear is hot off the shelves, a newsworthy topic, a sister company of Martinez Valero, and has already been picked up nationally by Nordstrom.com, Belk, Endless.com and Alfred Angelo, among many others. We see you have snapped Martinez Valero President, Av Goodman, and Lauren Jones, of Lauren Jones Footwear, but have not credited them properly, nor mentioned the footwear release, or any newsworthy facts about the new brand. As an industry blogging leader and credible online shoe industry source, I certainly hope to see more on the topic of new brands such as Lauren Jones Footwear sooner than later.
