Tabitha Simmons Playful Polka Dot Sandals

I can’t seem to fall asleep tonight (this morning?). Ye gods, it’s nearly 3 AM and sleep is apparently not in my immediate future. It’s been one of those days/weeks/summers – something like that.

Be that as it may, it looks like I’m gonna be awake for a bit longer. So, here I am, hunting online for something fun & upbeat to pass the time.

What I found were these adorable polka dot platform sandals from Tabitha Simmons.

How utterly cute are these? Fun and fanciful – I dare you to keep a frown on your face while you are sporting a pair of these on your feet.

These shoes are a summer tea-party dream; a reminder to slow down, smile, and find your playful side.  Who says you have to be grown-up & serious all the time?  Sometimes a bit of whimsy is just what we need to counteract all of the stress and pressure that comes from our everyday lives and responsibilities.

One slice of whimsy, coming right up.

These remind me of the "Irregular Choice" brand. Very whimsical and fun. I like!

These are the shoes in my mind that I thought would be perfectly acceptable for me to be wearing when I was four years old! I DO remember desperately wanting to wear high heels when I was very little and couldn't understand WHY they didn't make them for children!

Are they for everyone? Hardly. But I'm also partial to Bestey Johnson & Beverly Feldman – an over the top set of ladies as there ever were. I did finally get to sleep some time after 5 or so. Been a strange, restless kind of summer.

Sorry you couldn't sleep, but I LOVE these whimsical shoes! That's exactly what I'm looking for in my high heels – something to break the mundane. Polka dots are one surefire way to do so!
