I completely missed this shoe before (darn those long dresses!) but here’s Taraji Henson in a rhinestone buckle, satin version of the Stuartz Weitzman Wicky (pewter version is $335 at Zappos) at the 2009 Golden Globes Awards. The same shoe but in a different color was worn by Jessica Stroupe for the People’s Choice Awards.
These Christian Louboutin’s Multi-Buckle 5 inch platform sandals are on pre-sale at Saks.com for $1,495 right now. However, presale means nothing if your name is Heidi Klum. She wore them last night to the 2009 Golden Globe Awards.
Aside: Heidi Klum could wear a burlap sack as a dress and still look gorgeous but this is not one of my favorite looks. The vampy shoes don’t suit the poofy dress which the gigantic red flower.
After a hiatus last year due to the strikes, the 2009 Golden Globe Awards were back in full force with plenty of lovely gowns and shoes. I’m sure there are more, but here are the celebrities I spotted who wore Jimmy Choo shoes to the event.
Angelina Jolie wore Jimmy Choo ‘Emma’ bridal shoes ($560 at Jimmy Choo Stores) with a Versace dress.
America Ferrara, in a taupe Oscar de la Renta dress, wore satin Jimmy Choo ‘Clue’ shoes (Champagne and Black at Saks for $665)
My favorite dress of the night was worn by Olivia Wilde. And after doing a bit of digging, I was finally able to find this peek-a-boo look of her shoes, which look suspiciously like Jimmy Choo Metallic Sandals ($895 at Saks).
Lisa Edelstein (can you see that I tend to gravitate towards House stars?) wore a black satin version of the Jimmy Choo Glenys pump (the snakeskin version is available at Saks for $1,295)
