DSW shoes’ online shopping site is finally here! The DSW site is so new that I haven’t had a chance to thoroughly browse the site yet - I wanted to tell you first!

Shipping is free with a $50 purchase using promotional code FSHP50 at checkout (or if you are a DSW member).

I will now end this very brief blog post in order to explore my new, temporary online home.

Move over Zappos, Piperlime, Endless, and all the other online shoe stores,  the shoe websphere is set to get a little more crowded and our pocketbooks a whole lot lighter.  CNN Money is reporting that DSW Shoes plans to invest $37 million and bring us an online shoe store.  Welcome to the 21st century, DSW!

Shoe and DSW enthusiasts like myself will need to wait until next year before the site launches.  In the meantime, DSW, here’s what I’d like to see besides a wide range of brands and styles:

• In store returns and exchanges  (there are at least 3 DSW shoe stores within 30 minutes drive from my place)
• If I see a shoe I like in your store that isn’t available in the size or color that I want, it would be great to have the ability to purchase it online while I’m at the store (and before I forget the model and style name).
• DSW Rewards and other coupons that are redeemable online
• Free shipping and returns
• Ability to sort by shoe category, size, color, brand, etc.
