The $2000 shoes

You’ve probably heard the buzz about Nike’s Air Force 1 sneaker. If you’re absolutely dying to have one, the luxury edition–in anaconda or crocodile skin (like the one above), complete with 18-karat-gold shoelace tips, can be yours for a paltry $2000. However, if customized sneakers are more your style, you can get one for the more affordable, but still steep, price of $275. Choose your own materials, colors, styling, etc.–if you’re in New York, apply for a spot at www.nikeid.com/255studio.
Personally, I think I’ll pass.

If a shoe is going to cost two grand, then it needs to be a robot in disguise as well.

That shoe is awesome, I love all the different shoes Nike are bringing out these days, and the fact they even let you design your own shoes with Nike ID.
