Walk a mile in her shoes

Here’s one eloquent argument against high heels that a thousand, nay, ten thousand words couldn’t make. Verily I say unto you: a world where men also had to teeter dangerously (and blister-fully) on spike heels day after day is a world that has truly achieved the equality of sexes. By the looks of these men, they seem to have discovered for the first time that the world of spike heels never collides with the world of the comfortable.
This is part of the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Men’s March in Sherman Oaks, California. Men walked for one mile in high heels to protest domestic violence and rape and raise money for the Valley Trauma Center, a program of the College of Education at California State University dedicated to the elimination of sexual and interpersonal violence.
