It is common knowledge that many of our short actors wear "lifts" in their shoes. I have seen photos of a pair of sneakers that one A list actor wears that are pretty ingenious. The white section is just a small part of the sole. This photo is too small to see, but there is about an inch of black lift above the white section of the sole.
