Thanks for the update, I have super flat feet and struggle to find shoes that are decent for my foot. I agree overall Merrill's are good, as are Bally's. I didn't catch where the first poster recommended looking at/purchasing shoes (other than through the personal shopper) - did anyone else?
Secondly (and not really related to this post but since I can't start a new thread until I have 5 posts I thought I'd ask if anyone in here is a "sneaker" or casual shoe expert. I was in Amsterdam last week and found a brand of shoes that I really like (and even have been able to find a photo of one of the brand's shoes) however I'm having a really tough time figuring out what the brand is. I don't want to hi-jack this thread (and apologize for already going off topic, but if anyone is an "expert" on identifiying shoe brands or wants to take a try at it send me a private message and I can send you the photo).
