I just bought a pair of Miss Sixty Assuncion's off Zappos the other day. I received them yesterday to find out that the soles are completely smooth. I almost slipped and killed myself on my carpet twice. I heard that scuffing up the bottom of the soles will help, but what if I want to resell at a later date? I also know about Foot Petal's Sole Stopperz, but I would like to be able to find something else in a store. I really want to wear these shoes as soon as this weekend.

Any ideas?

Also, I need to purchase a heel grip for these shoes as well. They have a slight gap in the back. Does anyone have a favotire brand to recommend?
