I'm sure many of you watched the trainwreck that is Britney Spears these days performing (or attempting to do so) at the MTV VMAs last weekend.

Why was she such a lethargic and seemingly talentless performer when her dancing skills and energy have been really great in the past? Well, this is one person's suggestion:
a broken boot heel!!
I don't think it's fair to blame it on the shoes (which don't seem to be broken to me). Those poor innocent stiletto boots weren't responsible for the fact that Britney apparently sleepwalked her way through that performance.
