Since Xmas is all about sharing, I thought I would share one of my DSW shopping secrets.
Every few months, DSW does a promo where you get a $10 bonus card w/ every $50 gift card purchase. What I do is purchase a $50 gift card and "gift" it to myself. Later, I'll go back to DSW when the bonus card is valid and use both the gift card and $10 bonus card. It's like getting $60 worth of merchandise for $50. Of course, it's only worthwhile if you don't lose the gift card and it is does require me to keep track of when the bonus card is valid, but that's my savings tip for the day. At the very worst, even if I miss the bonus card days, I always end up having some shoes to buy.
