So, I've been holding out on the Birkenstocks because, well, you know. Doesn't exactly scream fashion, you know? But I'm also a practical gal, and when those hot summer days come and I have to work sandals, therefore not being able to wear my orthotics in them--what do I do? Sandals rarely come with arch support (I only have a few of those), and well, Birkenstocks do, and they have a wonderful reputation for comfort. And so it is that I'm eyeing these:
They're $60 on Yoox, and they seem to be quite comfy for all those grocery-shopping and odd errands to the bank, post office, and what not during the hot season. But I'm still reluctant to take the plunge. Will I lose my fashion cred if I get these? Hah, I kid!
