I live in the Philippines where the climate could be very hot. Almost everyone here is wearing a flip-flops! Its funny you should all know how we use it other than wearing it:

- Shredding it pieces and use it as bait for the fishes.
- As flower pot
- For our bicycle's mud guard
- Chew toy for wild dogs
- Even boxing mouth piece! :-)

Its because flip-flops here are soooo cheap even my dog Spottie has one. That, until Havaianas hit our stores. I observed some people mumbling about 1350 pesos for a darn slipper. Well, I wish thats the price to all the slippers here so that they'll not use it as mouth piece lol!
