Default Re: Men's Shoes

Boots are a good choice. Sometimes androgynous but less confrontational than embellished feminine styles.

Somewhat related - I actually just watched Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band for the 1st time in 20 years & gotta say that Keith Richards worked the heeled boot without any hint of femininity. Gotta say that with women's styles, the message folks get is gonna be affected by overall style & attitude. So, you have to work out the fit into your style & life.

We women actually go through a bit of experimenting to find our own 'shoe personality'. Though, the paranoia & cross-dressing hysteria about men wearing any heeled shoes reminds me of the whole uproar when women started wearing trousers in the US. It's also funny since historically my understanding is that men were the earliest wearers of heeled styles.
