OK, you know that idea of women with shoes and bags and gloves and hats that all match? It's an appealing, pulled-together idea, sure, but not very practical. I mean, not many people wear gloves for style on a regular basis these days, which is sort of a shame, in my opinion.
But thanks to 6pm, you can still have a handbag that matches your shoes, and without having to scour through the vast internets to find it. How does this cool and creative tool work? Well, first you pick a shoe you like. I've chosen this cute little Basquiat flat from Indigo by Clarks. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=59336_2_1.jpg Then you click on the button that says "See Bags that Match" and you're taken to "The Match Maker," where they recommend 6 bags to match your shoes. My results? The Roxy Kimberly http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=67891_2_1.jpg This Shiraleah tote in two colors http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=60599_1_1.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=60599_2_1.jpg This Sydney Love faux suede bag http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=82574_2_1.jpg Another silk tote from Shiraleah (this is probably the one I'd pick, by the way) http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=55654_4_1.jpg And this Earth Axxessories East/West tote in green velvet (which I think is mighty hideous) http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v6...=83521_1_1.jpg Those are the first six suggestions, but it lets you scroll through plenty more. And for each one, you can rate its "perfect matchiness" on a scale of 1-6 stars. Neat, no?
