OK, you know that idea of women with shoes and bags and gloves and hats that all match? It's an appealing, pulled-together idea, sure, but not very practical. I mean, not many people wear gloves for style on a regular basis these days, which is sort of a shame, in my opinion.
But thanks to 6pm, you can still have a handbag that matches your shoes, and without having to scour through the vast internets to find it.
How does this cool and creative tool work? Well, first you pick a shoe you like. I've chosen this cute little Basquiat flat from Indigo by Clarks.
Then you click on the button that says "See Bags that Match" and you're taken to "The Match Maker," where they recommend 6 bags to match your shoes.
My results?
The Roxy Kimberly
This Shiraleah tote in two colors
![]()
This Sydney Love faux suede bag
Another silk tote from Shiraleah (this is probably the one I'd pick, by the way)
And this Earth Axxessories East/West tote in green velvet (which I think is mighty hideous)
Those are the first six suggestions, but it lets you scroll through plenty more. And for each one, you can rate its "perfect matchiness" on a scale of 1-6 stars.
Neat, no?
