Anyone else here slightly bothered by the phrase 'matchy-matchy' to pick on fashion outfits? I even recently read somewhere that you should 'only' match your shoes to the color of your skirt or pants. Honestly, I think it really varies from outfit to outfit & of course mood & personal style.
I happen to like coordinating shoes with a belt, bag or watch. Sure, you can go overboard, but strategic color matches can really bring monochromatic staples up a level. Anyway, got these shoes last month (Guess at about $35 from amazon) and just caved & got this watch at TJmaxx for $119 & reminded me about the whole 'matchy' thing. |

me I always match my shoes with my outfit. I always ask my younger sister if my shoes is ok with my dress.

I think shoes make an outfit, so I match my outfit to my shoes. Sometimes it's the earings I am wearing, the bag I am carrying, or my neckalace that cordinates with my shoes, and the rest of the pieces fall into place.

I don't necessarily match my shoes but I match a handbag with my outfits.

i just make sure the colours compliment each other not really matching them, i wore a green and black top with black denim and then bright red shoes. I think its more complimenting each other then matching to each other

You could try Amazon or 6pm.com. I know they had some a few months ago. Also, if they are at 6pm, check the price against overstock.com as they seem to have purchased/affiliated with 6pm.
