Rupert Sanderson for Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010 Shoes

For the second season, <strong>shoe designer Rupert Sanderson</strong> collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld for his runway collection.* If the <strong>Spring 2010 shoe</strong> looks familiar, it's because the designs are based off two of Rupert's best selling styles,* <a href="http://www.rupertsanderson.co.uk/docs/shop.php?id=17:5:0:899:0" target="_blank">the Asteroid</a> and Finesse. * Updates to the shoe included a heel inspired inspired by the Italian architect Gio Ponti and ankle straps that were altered so that they looped under the sole and are bolted in place. * To complete the futuristic rock look Lagerfield was going for, a shot of Karl as a guitar hero was spray-stenciled on the front of the shoes.
