Im miffed about these satin Kate Spade Mary-Janes (available in pink or lime green on Bluefly). On the one hand, the concept is right: theyre made of a glorious satin, beribboned, a cute color, look comfortable, and theyre Mary-Janes, of course (one of my favorite styles). Even the price is sweet, just under $100, down from $275. However, its the oversized ribbon thats souring the deal for me. Its overpowering the vamp and its WAY in your face. Its too much piled together, in other words: the neon color, the shiny fabric, the huge ribbon...aahhh....saccharine overload...must...avert....eye....
