Curved heels, anyone?

What do you think of this seasons trend of inward-curved heels? They started to crop up a little bit too much not to notice. Heres a Dior chunky platform:

Aside from the fact that they look kind of impossible to walk in, I just wonder what do they do for your sillhouette? I mean, what you wear is supposed to enhance your physique somehow, and when its high heels, theyre supposed to make you look longer, leaner, more elegant. I just cant shake the feeling that these heels make you look more like Satans minion than a fashion minion. What do you think?
