A few days ago, it was over 72 degrees in the air, which put a spring in my step and a twinkle in my eye, plus it gave me the courage to buy these beautiful Hegos (not on sale, mind you!)--the perfect spring-summer flats.
Today, after 2 hours of running errands in the wintry mix explosion outside, I came home looking like a wet mop. The spring in my step was dampened to a floppy shuffle, the twinkle in my eye--dulled and frozen by the relentless hail. The only bright spot: my adorable white patent Aquatalia booties, which kept me warm and dry, and reasonably stylish. Which made me think, what boots are there to keep a fashionista looking hip in the midst of elements? Well, theres this Tretorn rubber boot, with a stylish wedge and contrast trim--available in red, green, black or brown for $130 on Zappos : ![]() In case you want a shorter, brighter version, they also have this: ![]() The Tretorn Plask Mid is available in yellow and brown for $114.
