New York Fashion Week Fall 08 Shoe Winners

Generally, I don't expect to be as intrigued by the ready to wear shoes as by the couture ones, but today's crop of runway shows brought a number of footwear creations that I'm head over stylish heels for.

To wit, look at these gorgeous peach colored pumps from the Peter Som show:

The Doo.Ri show had these two particularly pretty offerings.

Such nice textures and colors!

And while these Oscar de la Renta sandals may not be the most cutting edge, the oversize bows with jeweled centers hark right on back to the English Restoration shoes I talked about aÂ*few weeks ago.

Just goes to show that nothing is really ever out of fashion forever, doesn't it?
