Ever wonder how many pairs of shoes Hollywood celebrities own? I had to chuckle upon reading that Hilary Duff had to buy a new suitcase due to a shoe shopping spree.

For Mischa Barton, I wonder how many of the 40 pairs of sneakers were freebies from Keds.

I've had to buy luggage to accommodate a shopping spree. Since then I try to pack an extra bag in my suitcase.

Yeah, on any trip where I think I'll be doing any shopping, I make sure to pack an extra duffle bag that folds up small but can be filled with my shoe (or other) purchases.

I'm not a big duffel bag fan. I'm also not dextrous enough to handle 2 rolling suitcases. My secret is to leave extra room in my suitcase and use Air-Fill packing material (sigh, I order from Amazon too much) to occupy the extra space. If I end up needing space, I start to pop the packing materials. And if I don't need the space, I keep the Air-Fills so my luggage survives the airplane ride.

Of course, I don't pack THAT light. So if I ever bought 5 pairs of shoes, wanted to keep the shoe boxes, and didn't have the shoes shipped to me, I'm not sure what I'd do.
